This Ramp is a Godsend
By Debbie on Apr 12, 2021
My Husband and I have two Boxers, both weighing over 80lbs. We have had 6 Boxers total. Loading these big pups to go for a walk at a park has been back breaking for us not to mention the pain my husband experiences from his Hiatal Hernia from lifting. Our Boxers won't jump in the van or SUV. Even if they put their front paws up on the cargo area we still need to lift them up. We decided on a ramp. My husband found this one at Chewy and ordered it. WOW it is a life changer. It didn't take long to get our Boxers acclimated to the ramp. They go right up and down it like pros. We love this ramp and now we enjoy the walks even more.

Not perfect but good buy.
By CharlieandSophie on Mar 31, 2021
Con: -Dogs REALLY don't like the sandpaper surface -Poor weak plastic closure to keep it together when folded. Need to use bungee cord or velcro strap. -Dogs don't like the "bounce" or "springiness" factor (we have elderly 60 & 77 pound dogs): takes some training so they will "trust" it & not jump off. Would be nice if more rigid but that would also mean heavier, so it's a fair compromise Pro: -Least expensive I found -Adequate length when open; so not too steep incline like some 2 piece ramps. -All plastic, durable, no rusting, can leave outside the camper in rain -Fairly light weight to carry & store -Folds into 3 parts so more compact when folded than 2 part ramps. -Put scrap carpeting Con: -Dogs REALLY don't like the sandpaper surface -Poor weak plastic closure to keep it together when folded. Itty bitty pittie assist
By jermer on Mar 5, 2021
My pit is a shorty, I assist him into the SUV but, getting out was my worry. He's so short & so long in the back & I knew it hurt him to jump out. He's 9 so things aren't as easy as they used to be. bought him a sliding ramp but, It wasn't very long so it was very steep. He loved using it but, I would still have to help him so he wouldn't go too fast. It was very heavy, awkward & took up too much room even in its compact state. So I bought this one. For the most part I love it. I love that it's a smidge more narrow b/c I can use it to get him out of the backseat instead of having to keep a seat folded down to get him out of the cargo area, & it's still not too steep. He doesn't mind the sandpaper surface at all but, I hate when I touch it lol. The only things I don't like are, the aforementioned sandpaper, that it isn't raised on the sides and it's a little awkward to fold and unfold, not heavy, just awkward. maybe that's b/c I also am vertically challenged. … more

It works, but...
By Gloria on Apr 5, 2021
It is perfect for my old dogs, although ones is scared of it - not the fault of the ramp! The non-stick coating is like sandpaper and in trying to move/set the ramp I have torn pants with it and scraped myself pretty badly. That is my only negative on it. Would have preferred a rubbery material. Still considering if I am keeping it. I like how the tri-fold makes it more compact.

Strong and sturdy
By trix on Mar 27, 2021
I like the ramp a lot, our older dog not so much. She used to leap into the back of the suv but now that she can't I wanted something to put less stress on her. I think if she was younger it would be easier to train her. In spite of what seems like a less than enthusiastic review, I think it's a very well-made item, but maybe the top of the ramp could be some kind of rubber tread instead of the sandpapery surface.

Fantastic Piece of Equipment
By Mini on Apr 2, 2021
I love this ramp. It's nice and wide with great tread for grip. My old very arthritic lab is afraid of falling on most surfaces. She negociates this with ease. I am under 5' tall and 100 lbs but have no trouble lifting it or folding it up. I love the nylon strap with the hook. It helps stablize the ramp to my back bumper.

Don't like it
By JWealth on Mar 29, 2021
I really don't like this ramp, it's heavy, it's awkward, it has a very scratchy walkway, I have to cover it with a towel. The whole ramp slides and moves about when my dog walks on it. It just doesn't work for us. It got scratched and damaged right out of the box. It weighs too much, my dog doesn't like it and, I'm sorry I chose this one.

Great, easy to use ramp for pups and seniors
By Alec on Mar 7, 2021
I bought this after using some scrap wood to make one. The made one was heavy and unwieldy (pinched my wife's fingers something bad) so it was time for something better. This ramp is lightweight and easy to deploy and I don't think one could pinch their fingers in stowing and deployment. Our 4 month old pup and 13 year old giant breeds use it just fine. Some dogs might not like the heavy duty sand paper glued on the ramp, but their rugged paws don't care. AND it might help keeping their nails trim!

Ramp for patio
By 2dogs1cat on Feb 18, 2021
Pleasantly surprised in the quality of the product. Easily folds, stable and slip proof. When it arrived and I unboxed, I didn’t think my dogs would use it. The surface where they walk is very gritty like sand paper. Set up on the end of my patio where the concrete steps are too steep for my senior chihuahuas (4 and 12 lbs). The larger one took to it right away, the other won’t use it. Now the cat is using it. I’ve walked up it to test weight, and I’m 140 lbs, very stable. Happy this worked. Far easier than having to build a ramp.
