Has a Few Flaws, but Overall Favorable

I purchased the medium 'Other Door' crate to bring home a new Belgian Shepherd puppy. The wheels are a big plus, it's relatively light compared to all metal crates, and it was perfect for travel. It is not a super sturdy crate, and if you have a dog who is determined to get out, it's probably not your match. The light metal rattles, but was easy to fix with a bit of duct tape on the edges - worth the three doors and the maneuverability for my use. The mat that comes with it is, in my opinion, worthless. The problem with it is that it can be pulled in and they can go under it and escape. We wired it so it can’t open and he just pushed and pushed until the clasps broke on both of the other This crate was highly recommended to us. We wired it so it can’t open and he just pushed and pushed until the clasps broke on both of the other doors. We have them wired together too and he goes in through the top door...until he figures out he can push it open too. He was 5 months old when we got the crate and 3 doors were broken within a week. … more
