Sturdy, cost-effective, may not be best option for Dachshunds

I had high hopes for this ramp. I'm sure it's a great option for a variety of breeds large and small. But this was difficult for our 10-year dachshund to maneuver and now sits unused in the basement. I think the fact that the ramp starts several inches off the ground was part of the issue. He needed a little leap to get going up the ramp which was tricky. Other than that, it actually is a nice product for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot on a ramp. It just didn't work for us.

Not what I needed

I bought it for my 19 year old cat who occasionally misses when trying to jump on the bed, but he completely ignores this. This ramp is very easy to assemble and sturdy. However, it has a strong plastic smell at first and is not as tall as I thought. My cat also does not like the texture on the ramp (not carpet, but squiggly rubber).

this helps my senior dog up on my couch and my 2yr old cat sleeps on the top step when the dogs are outside it was very well affordable and is sturdy to the max i really love it

He likes it

At first my cat, Mikey Meyers, used it as a scratching place but he eventually discovered it also helped him get from the floor to my chair. He likes it and that’s all that matters to me.

Best Ramp for Little Pup

If your pup has luxating patellas, this ramp is an invaluable addition to your home! This is the third ramp we purchased (the first one was great, the second one came damaged and had a piece missing). In true Chewy Customer Service fashion, a replacement was sent at no charge. The third ramp is in perfect condition and came sooner than expected.

Great ramp!

This ramp is sturdy and lightweight. My doxies love it. It is replacing a collapsible ramp whose rug wore out and no replacement was available. The grip pad as this ramp is far superior!

Very nice, hope she uses it!

Just received, not to hard to put together. Looks nice, sturdy. Not too steep, perfect height for our bed. One of my girls has luxating patellas, don't want to aggravate them anymore than necessary. She's got knee braces and supplements too.
