Give your pet the boost she needs with the Pet Gear Travel Lite Bi-Fold Dog & Cat Ramp with SupertraX. This high-quality ramp allows your dog or cat to easily climb into your vehicle or other hard-to-reach places without risking injury or straining your back. The removable SupertraX mat features a pressure-activated material that provides extra grip and stability by increasing the paw’s surface contact area when she steps on it. Rubberized grips on the bottom of the ramp keep it from slipping while in use, while the provided safety tether secures it to the back of most vehicles for added stability. The bi-fold design stores easily and a convenient carry handle makes it simple to transport.

I got this ramp a month ago for my 12-year old, 60 lb. standard poodle b/c she's having problems jumping into an SUV. So far it's great. It is a bit narrow for a dog her size, but she figured it out in about 1 week of training with it flat on the ground. It doesn't bend or bounce when she walks on it and the green surface really helps her get traction. It's not so heavy that I can't lift it in and out of the car, and it folds easily. The only negative is that the bottom part that rests on the ground is a bit slippery, especially on snow, so you may need to put a towel under it. Also, I wish it had a handle to make carrying easier. Let's hope it stands up to repeated use.

The ramp is a well built ramp. However, the usefulness with different vehicles is crap. It shows being used with a minivan. Not everyone has a minivan. It also shows loading pets in the back of an SUV. Not everyone leads their pets in the back. Therefore I mad a purchase of this item and it is useless because the pets are loaded in the back seat of a Toyota suv where the side doors do not open at a 90 degree angle to the vehicle. The ramp goes under the door due to the door frame at the back of the door. Will not buy another without better functionality and more research.

It is designed to be used on the side or the rear of the vehicle. If I put in at the back of my Toyota 4runner, the slope is impossibly steep for any med.or lg.sized dog. On the side, the door does not clear it. Both positions are not stable & the ramp waggles even with the tether . Sorry I bought it.
Just what we needed

Our older Sheltie couldn't jump into the extra space behind the seat of the Ford Ranger. This ramp was perfect. It wasn't too heavy for two older women to lift repeatedly and set into place during a one month traveling vacation. After a little training, Prince was very comfortable using it. The traction was great and it was extremely steady.
Sturdy and easy to use but

I bought it for my 2018 Ford Explorer as a rear bumper entrance. It's reaches the bumper but the angle is a bit to steep. My old border collie adapted quickly but my St.Bernard mix won't attempt to use it.

We really like this ramp for our 9 year old yellow lab. It was getting hard for her to jump in and out of the truck. This is sturdy and works great, and folds up for easy storage.

Dog Ramp For Aging Dogs

My Lab is 9+ years old. She is still spry and is able to jump into the back of my GMC Sierra 1500 pick up without assistance. However 5 weeks ago, she tore the ligaments on her left rear leg. I had the leg surgically repaired but bought the ramp so I wouldn't have to carry her onto the truck. I think it was a wise purchase for me because before long, my Lab won't be able to leap onto the truck. I have had ramps before, I like this because it's relatively light and easy to handle. Also, it is stable and does not slip or slide when properly placed.

This product does not work at all for my dogs. I had to anchor it to the back of my CR-V and it was too narrow for my dogs, a collie and newfie puppy.I used all kinds of treats to entice them to go up but they never would do it. I no success with it whatever.

I bought this for our 6 year old lab who for the first time, is having to jump in a truck. She was very reluctant and it would take her so long to get the courage to jump. Since we are now RVers, she really needed to be able to get in the truck easily. This is just what we needed. She is still a bit timid about the ramp, but with a leash she is learning. This ramp will also protect her joints as she continues to age.
