    Really happy with this product

I got this ramp a month ago for my 12-year old, 60 lb. standard poodle b/c she's having problems jumping into an SUV. So far it's great. It is a bit narrow for a dog her size, but she figured it out in about 1 week of training with it flat on the ground. It is a bit narrow for a dog her size, but she figured it out in about 1 week of training with it flat on the ground. It doesn't bend or bounce when she walks on it and the green surface really helps her get traction. It's not so heavy that I can't lift it in and out of the car, and it folds easily. The only negative is that the bottom part that rests on the ground is a bit slippery, especially on snow, so you may need to put a towel under it. Also, I wish it had a handle to make carrying easier. Let's hope it stands up to repeated use. … more

    Don't buy - poorly designed!

By Karenerak on Jul 10, 2019

This ramp is only 42" long when unfolded - so any height over one foot from the ground to the vehicle puts the ramp at such a steep incline that most dogs would resist trying to go up. And, if you only have a one foot distance from the ground, a large dog can step into the vehicle without it and a small dog is easy to lift in. The photo is deceptive, but in reality the distance from the ground is probably only 12" judging by the model's boot. Whomever designed this ramp must have manufactured it before actually testing it! I don't think Chewy should continue to sell this item. This was the first thing I'd every ordered from Chewy. I must compliment the Chewy company (just not the product) because when I complained and wanted to send it back, they were very nice and offered a full refund. … more

    Very Disappointing

    By on

There is no way to secure the ramp to my Honda Civic. When my pooch tried to climb up, the ramp kept sliding off and out of the car. It needs adjustable hooks or something to secure it to regular cars (it comes with a way to secure to SUV's and other cars with rear entry tailgates, but not with regular car door entrances). A waste of my money.

    Ramp usefulness

    By on

The ramp is a well built ramp. However, the usefulness with different vehicles is crap. It shows being used with a minivan. Not everyone has a minivan. It also shows loading pets in the back of an SUV. Not everyone leads their pets in the back. Therefore I mad a purchase of this item and it is useless because the pets are loaded in the back seat of a Toyota suv where the side doors do not open at a 90 degree angle to the vehicle. The ramp goes under the door due to the door frame at the back of the door. Will not buy another without better functionality and more research.

    failed device

    By on

It is designed to be used on the side or the rear of the vehicle. If I put in at the back of my Toyota 4runner, the slope is impossibly steep for any med.or lg.sized dog. On the side, the door does not clear it. Both positions are not stable & the ramp waggles even with the tether . Sorry I bought it.

    disappointed

This product does not work at all for my dogs. I had to anchor it to the back of my CR-V and it was too narrow for my dogs, a collie and newfie puppy.I used all kinds of treats to entice them to go up but they never would do it. I no success with it whatever.
