Feeding Instructions

Feed to your pet as a healthy reward or snack. Cat Grass can be fed to cats, dogs, birds, reptiles, and small animals. Adjust the serving size according to the size of your pet. Reptiles and small animals should only be fed small amounts of cat grass. Consult your veterinarian for more information about the proper serving size for your pet. Cat grass can be eaten directly out of the pot or clipped and added to food. Please do not leave your animal unattended when feeding directly out of the tub. The package is not meant for consumption.

Instructions

Growing Instructions

Stir contents to evenly distribute seeds. Evenly pour 3/4 cup of water over the mixture. Place the tub in a warm, out-of-the-way place that does not get a lot of light. Check daily to make sure the seed mixture stays moist, and water as needed (a spray bottle works great here.)

Your seeds should start to sprout in about 3-4 days, at which point the tub should be moved to a bright, well ventilated location (although not in direct sunlight.)

That's it! Your Pet Greens Meadow is ready for your pets to enjoy when the grass reaches about 2 inches in height. It can grow up to 7 inches high, but should be trimmed at about the 5 inch point to keep it fresh and healthy.

This item is not like the picture.

    By on

The grass is very sparse and not at all like it appears in the picture on the container cover. Also started to grow mold in patches across the surface of the soil/potting mixture. Now the whole thing smells moldy/stinky. Most of the seeds have not sprouted. This items is a bust and I will not be purchasing it again

    Best cat grass

    By on

The pet grass started growing in three days and was 1 1/2 inches high by day five. Very thick and lush. The cats absolutely love it! Will definitely purchase again.

    Does not grow

    By on

I had to get a refund because this did not work despite following exact instructions. I use another brand that I suggested Chewy carries in the near future that I'd buy because it works. I like the easy instructions of just watering once and leave at a location where there's plenty of light. Unfortunately, this brand barely sprouted grass.

    Easy to Grow

    By on

Pour some water on it. Set it in a shady spot to begin with. After it grows, put it where kitty can get it. Happy cat!

    Failed to Grow

    By on

Despite following the directions that came with the product, the seeds failed to sprout except for a few around the edges. My cats and I were very disappointed. Will not purchase again.

Cats love to chew grass - sometimes

    By on

My cat likes to chew grass when she's outside on her leash, so I thought I'd give her a private supply. I like that this is a natural, organic product, but after a couple of tastes, my princess doesn't want it. I still recommend it because most cats would love this. Easy to grow, and grows very fast and thick.

    Poor Growth

    By on

This product doesn't use regular soil or water drainage holes which may cause the problem of very sparse grass growth. The same manufacturer's alternative to this is the grass seed (product they make) with real soil which drains by making holes in the bottom of the plastic containers it comes in (and if you wish, can be transplanted into small clay pots with drainage holes).

    I Can Grow It!

    By on

I usually have trouble with these grow-it-yourself types that start out in the dark. I generally wind up with a box full of mold. But I grew this one, it's gorgeous, and the kids love it!
