Pretty collar
I bought this for our wolfhound when she was almost 3 months old. I wasn't sure if she was going to out grow it quickly when I bought it so I got a medium and added an extra hole and she's grown into it beautifully. I will say that if the pup pulls and you grab the collar awkwardly it does unsnap. Thankfully for me she isn't a runner and sticks by my side. I still love it and she wears it when we go out. Also since it's fake leather the inside is fabric so keep that in mind if you make your own holes
Sturdy collar but
This seems like a sturdy collar but the size is off. I bought the large for my dog who has an 18in neck, this was too big. So I would recommend sizing down for the collar in this set. The harness for this set is accurate on its sizing.
Not for cats.
I looked for the leather collar and it wasn't available anymore. It differently fit them. This collar is sturdy and well made...for dogs. Don't experiment.
