It's a bowl, but not anti-spill

My cats love to splash in their water bowls, but they easily outsmarted this one by using one paw to press the floating ledge to the bottom of the bowl and the other paw to splash and "dig" in the water. So, it essentially functions as any other bowl to me.

I like the bowl. It doesn't spill, he seldom splashes in it its no longer all over the floor,(the water) but I MUST find a way to keep him from moving it around an trying to yip it. It's In. A box right now. All in all, a good product

My cats would constantly tip over their water bowl and make a mess or get their food in the bowl. Since getting this bowl they have not tipped their water over. Great product no more mess or ruined floor.
