My dog goes to work with me, and I carry this thing everywhere with us. What's cool is that I put kibble in the water part and the kibble can just chill in the cup while my dog gets her water fix. If she doesn't want water, I can put a little kibble in the water bowl part. If you pour out too much water, you can just push the button and it goes back into the holding chamber. This remind me that I should probably one of these for my car & boyfriend's house.
I got this after seeing my fancy dog friend get one. I immediately took it on a 22 mile backpacking hike. It’s well made and extremely convenient for extreme backpacking or any other outdoor activities. Even though it doesn’t hold a lot of water, I carried a 48 oz water bottle to fill it up from and only had to refill it every third water break. I still kept a collapsible water bowl for camp, but this travel one wasted less water and time. I honestly know nothing about the filtering part, but it does at least filter out stream debris. One more thing I loved was the many different screw off options. I can open it after the filter, before the filter, and at the bottom for a normal water bottle type opening. Here’s the goods: He can’t spill it. It fit in his small sized Front Range pup pack. Easy to clean and fill by being very easy to take apart. It gives him as much water as he wants, and I can save the excess water he doesn’t drink by allowing it to drip back into the reservoir. It saved me an incredible amount of time on the hike. I only had to refill it every third stop and we kept pace with the other hikers who all had camelbacks. It doesn’t leak all over your bag as long as you keep the cap on and so far it hasn’t leaked elsewhere.
I tried writing to the company and have gotten no response. Great idea but a waste of money from bad design and poor construction.
This is a PERFECT on-the-go water bottle. No leaks or spills. My Yorkie loves it!
I try to take my chubby Cavalier King Charles Spaniel on a walk every day. When it is warm out, she kind of struggles. This water bottle for dogs is easy to carry and easy to use. She laps it right up and it makes me feel better.
Sadly the elastic strap broke so the bottle landed then cracked. Concept is great just strap is to frail.
This is very easy to take on walks, very easy to use. conserves water by allowing you to dispense only what you need. My dog loves to drink from the perfectly designed resevoir.
This was suggested by Chewy after a different water bottle did not work. Nice size and easy for medium dog to drink from it!
Water stopped coming out after the second use. It also can’t stand up unless you have the plastic top on it which is a little inconvenient when filling.
Good idea. Haven't used it beyond putting water in. Seems to work as stated. I'm keeping it in my car for trips.
