Wonderful Tool!

This brush is wonderful. It brushes the hair nicely and deeply enough to get the undercoat, very important on dogs like cocker spaniels. It also nicely clears up mats with almost no pulling.

Not for a cat

I'm looking for a different kind of brush that will gently help untangle and even prevent my long haired cat's mats. This comb has promise, but it's way too large for a cat's small body size. Maybe it would live up to its promise on a medium to large sized dog.
