works great for vulvar fold dermatitis

    By Boxerlover888 on May 17, 2019

My female boxer has an issue with vulvar fold dermatitis. We try to keep her clean down there and this stuff has been a life saver with keeping the yeast and bacteria away. We want to avoid surgery if possible, she's only a year old and we want to see if she will grow out of it.

    Disappointed

By BullyBreedLover on Feb 12, 2019

I was looking for a more affordable option for Chlorhexidine wipes than the 30 pad option that I was getting from my vet. This one is 50 wipes for the same price, so I thought, "Bingo, there it is!". However these wipes are half the size, and about 1/4 the thickness, so a single wipe doesn't go very I was looking for a more affordable option for Chlorhexidine wipes than the 30 pad option that I was getting from my vet. However these wipes are half the size, and about 1/4 the thickness, so a single wipe doesn't go very far and because it is so thin, bunches up instead of doing a good job of covering the area being wiped. I much prefer the larger, thicker wipes, which now appear to be a better value than these. … more

    Tiniest package of wipes

    By on

My cat has allergies and licks himself irritating his skin, so I have to use these regularly. The package says 50 wipes but the gauze with medication my vet gave me is a much better product. I think my vet makes their own wipes since this is so overpriced for what you get. I am going to look into making my own as well. Vet gave me 1 gallon zip lock baggie of thick wipes with antiseptic medication on them. If you are in a pinch though, this will do.

    Larger wipes, please.

    By on

I was and am still looking for larger Chlorhexidine wipes - the size of baby wipes or cleansing cloths.

    Product is just okay

    By on

My Cairn Terrier puppy has allergies so I wipe her paws with antiseptic pads after her walks. These antiseptic wipes are small and very thin, and I have to use two per paw, which gets expensive. Because they're so thin, it's difficult to moisten the space between her pads to sufficiently clean her paws. I'll go back to cotton balls and chlorhex solution - not quite as convenient but I can thoroughly clean her paws!

    Not a First-Aid Product

    By on

I purchased these wipes to clean the little white scabs on my cat's neck. I was worried the scabs would get infected when she scratched them, and wanted to keep them as clean as possible so they would heal. I assumed an "antiseptic wipe" which was listed under First Aid products, would be ideal to not only clean the area, but also kill any bacteria. Unfortunately, the label warned against using the wipes on open wounds, so I couldn't use them. This product may be good for GROOMING, but it should not be sold as a First Aid product.
