These wipes should not be used on open abrasions. Avoid use on open wounds, cuts, or raw areas.
What happens if you can't prevent your cat from licking its lips or chin after using the wipe on that area?

It is important to not allow the animal to lick the treated areas until dry to prevent ingestion. It's best if you can hold them still for a minute or two and blow on the applied area, taking care to avoid over saturating the area so it dries quickly.

Excellent Product
I adopted a special needs kitty with a long list of health issues, and one of the issues was over-grooming. He has skin irritations, and these wipes appear to have given him a great deal of peace. I use them for all three of my cats, just in case he's allergic to them too. The wipes give them a fresh, clean smell without smelling medicated. The over-grooming issue has gone away, and they are not irritated by this treatment. I use these wipes once or twice per week for my indoor-only cats.
