Works to heal raw skin.
One of my girls has been scratching & licking herself raw. I have tried everything including special hydrolized protein cat food from the vet, nothing worked except prescription prednisone. I got a jar of this & started wiping her "bad" spots once a day, what an improvement. Her ears & face are healing & her tummy is almost completely cleared up. She doesn't scratch at her face & ears as much & rarely has marathon licking sessions on her tummy & "armpits" like she did.
Works well but cat hates smell
We used this to treat chin acne on our cat. It did work well but she hated the smell. No matter how we tried to trick her or hide it from her, as soon as she smelled it she would run. Worth it in the end since it did clear up her skin. Now only weekly use required instead of daily.
Excellent for after walks
Great for cleaning paws after a trips to the bark park. Love this product! 3 time to purchase it and CHEWY is the BEST!!! Quick and great selection of products for my furbabies! Thank you Chewy!!
Good product
Used to clean surrounding wound area, prior to applying chlorhexidine spray directly on would. Wipes are thin and have a tendency to "stick together". When using, be sure to not grab too many at a time.
Stained pink
I bought these for my dogs white chin, and theyre so strongly stained pink it transfers to his chin. This defeating the purpose of my keeping his chin clean to avoid tear stains
Great for acne!
My cat is struggling with chin acne recently and we let it get too bad Bought these wipes to help and they quickly work to lift the black gunk off the skin Had to use like 6 pads the first time since my cat was looking so bad but since I just wipe his chin once a week to keep it away.
A Must Have
Chlorhexidine Antiseptic Wipes are a must have for your pets first aid kit! I used these on our mastiff who pulled all of the fur off one of his toes! I wiped his toe twice a day and within three days almost all of his fur was back and he was no longer licking. In a week all of his fur was filled completely back in. I also use these for our Rhodesian/ Staff mix. He's pretty rough and tumble and got another aurel hematoma on his ear. These are great as an antiseptic prior to draining his ear and for clean up after. I highly recommend them!
Best to have on hand
These wipes are great! My bulldog tends to get facial acne he roots a lot so he can be prone. This stuff keeps it in check. Also, these anti bacterial wipes are great for hotspots too.
Underwhelming results
I purchased these wipes to save money and hope that they are just as good as the GlenHaven HexaChlor-K wipes my Vet prescribed. Unfortunately, they don't deliver the same results; each pad is thinner and does not enough have solution to wipe my dogs paw using only 1 pad.
