Received this item on 2/1/2018 and have given 1 treat to each cat (2 cats) daily and have noticed absolutely no change in either cat. Every-day stress & behavioral issues have not changed. Directions for use are "give 1 chew daily", "product can be given daily or on an as-needed basis. It is safe to double or triple the dose in times of increased stress" Loo, 1 treat makes no difference to either of my cats and this product is too expensive to give multiple treats to multiple cats per day.
The 1 positive thing that I will say about this product is that both cats love the taste.
Not sure it works

I was curious to see if something like this would actually work and I don't think it does. I have 2 male cats, 4 years old. I bought 1 bag of this, and have been giving them 1 at night before I head to bed. They haven't really been any calmer. Last night they were the typical cat crazy running around the house at night. Can't recommend them to anyone in good faith saying they calm. My boys eat them down, but they just like food because they're a bit chubby.
Thought I needed these, thankfully didn't .....

My 4-mo. female was biting and scratching and at times was really hyper. She even spat at me one morning, and when jumping caught her claws in my lower leg. The blood flowed!! I got the Soft Claws, which were a life saver, not to mention SKIN. I thought the calming chews would be my answer and when started, had to give a second one since one didn't seem to help. After hard running and playing, she would finally wear herself out, and I thought the chews were making her fall asleep. I then gave two each morning, but she was running faster and more than before. She had an almost "wild" look in her eyes, very anxious. Then finally calm down after a while. She had an almost "wild" look in her eyes, very anxious. Then finally calm down after a while. I wondered if I jumped the gun and maybe should not have given them to her. I remembered how, years ago, I was given Valium before a surgery, and it made me very wide awake and hyper. The more they gave me, the more anxious I became! I thought, "If it can happen to a person, why not a kitty?" So I discontinued the chews. The very first day, she seemed almost releived not to have them in her system, was not nearly as hyper. She was more calm, it seemed. I decided to see if I could do without them. I think this is a good product and does what it says it will do, and has helped many others, just not the right solution for me. Chewy even refunded my money for all the chews I ordered to be sure I didn't run out of them. Great Customer Service!! Suggested I donate to shelter or friend who might need them, which I'll definitely do. This has been several weeks ago, and my Biscuit is getting better, but with 24/7 tons of patience and TLC. Also, VERY CAREFUL playing. And, Soft Claws are a must! Today, she actually stretched out on my lap and let me give her a thorough combing with the Furminator, another Chewy fine product... BEST grooming device ever! She even seemed to enjoy it! Only when she says so, of course. :) AND, she is lying on my lap, shoulder, legs every day now after play times. Jumps right on me whenever she pleases. To her, the whole world is a playground! But that's a good thing.… more

It does work nicely. My 2 cats were calmer without becoming catatonic. They love the treats but I do have 5 cats and the other 3 won't touch them. I am lucky in that the cats I wanted to calm are the 2 that like the calming treats. They are chicken/liver flavor. These 2 cats like liver but my others don't so that explains that. Maybe they could make some chicken or beef without liver or even tuna (my 5 cats don't like tuna...go figure.
Close but no cigar

Super bummed, my fat boi Finnegan ate like 3 and hasn't touched them since. Like these could be the only treats left on Earth and he'll be like. "Yeaaah no thanks" and push them away with his paw. My friend recommended them to me, not this brand but calming treats in general because Finn is such a spaz but I'm hoping this won't be the case if we try another brand.

This product does calm cats down. I have found some cats just eat them like treats and others will need to have them chopped up in other food. But either way, cats take them easily and they are good for situations of heightened stress. I use them before vet visits for nervous cats.
Love it for sure

I bought these hoping they would ease the transition from the rescue to my home, however she doesn't care for them. I can put one out and she won't touch it. But she hasn't liked any of the treats I've tried so far, so maybe she's just not into treats.
Cats wouldn't eat them

I have 4 cats, which 2 are fine with each other. The other 2 have issues, one is very scared, which makes the newest one go after her. So I purchased these to give to all 4 and only the 2 that don't have issues ate them.
Amazing & they really work!

Our cat William (aka Bill) sometimes can get a little aggressive with our other two cats, he just does not know how to play gentle. I saw these on Chewy.com (much cheaper then in the pet stores) one calming cat chew and William is a whole different cat. we do not give these calming cat chews to William 24/7, its just when he really needs to calm down.
