We know it doesn’t seem like your dog has anything to be stressed out about, but it’s got to be tough watching your best friend (and feeder!) leave without knowing when they’ll be back. For pups that like to pace, obsessively lick, constantly bark, or are plagued with separation anxiety, there are Pet Naturals of Vermont CALMING Dog Chews. This product takes time to work. It eventually calmed the dog down which took about 45 min.
By Lori on May 31, 2016
This product will calm down a dog but it takes some time. If you need something quick acting, you would need to contact your veterinarian. I would say this would be a good product to help a puppy from getting carsick or to take the edge off a totally new situation making the pup more comfortable.

Calming Dog Chews
By Kathy1 on May 20, 2016
I am pleased with the calming dog chews. It helps my little tiny toy poodle when she goes to groomer. She is 11 years old and very fragile. The calming chews calms her, the calming chews don't drug her. I only wish the calming chews were a little softer, the fact that they are so small are great. My Lil poodle also loves the beef flavor. Thank you for product, it works.

My dog likes these treats, and begged for more
By Greer22 on May 13, 2016
I bought these treats in preparation for a road trip that I'm taking my rat terrier on. She sometimes gets overly excited about being in the car and I was hoping that giving her one of these beforehand would help her calm down. When the treats arrived, I gave her one to make sure that she could tolerate them. She gobbled it up and begged for another (which she didn't get - there is a limit to how many of these you should give your dog). While she loved the taste, I can't say that there was a marked difference in her excitability level. Even so, I will plan to give her one or two before we get in the car for our trip. It can't hurt.

Takes the edge off
By Sholden on May 10, 2016
My rescue pup has separation anxiety. He goes crazy after we return if we've left him for more than an hour. These really do seem to help.

Appears to take the edge off my puppies anxiety. Hoped it would work a bit better.

I gave it to my boston to calm her down due to separation anxiety. It did not work. It made her more hyper.

Saw no changes
By dogkook on Apr 3, 2016
I have terrier mix who is just anxious in general and other situations make him more anxious. I thought it couldn't hurt to try at the price. While he's happy to eat them, they do nothing to lessen or ease his anxiety.

My little Dachshund has separation anxiety and these seem to help her some.

It's a great idea...
By Stella on Mar 28, 2016
but it didn't work for my 1-1/2 year old rescue dog with a pretty bad case of separation anxiety. Perhaps I am not giving her enough but I am following the recommended dose on the package and am afraid to give her too much because I don't know what the side effects might be.

if the dog sleeps better, I sleep better
By hazelsmom on Mar 20, 2016
My elder dog has been restless at night pacing, wanting to be in bed with us. This product, along with a little melatonin and a Doggone Pain, an herbal pet formula has helped our whole family get a better night's sleep
