    Big treats for some cats

    By on

My 15 1/2 year old absolutely refused it. My sisters 4 year old chomped them down. They're pretty big and have to be broken in half for smaller kitties, which can be a pain for cats that don't want to eat it in the first place.

    It was a no 5x.

    By on

All 5 turned their nose up and walked away; even the feral cats wouldn't touch these. The chews have very tough texture that and the smell wasn't appealing enough to get them to try to chew them. I even broke them in smaller bites but nope. I ended trying a different brand that they like but this one was a no go.

    They love these

    By on

I recently spent around 1000.00 on one of my male cats. Come to find out, that majority of cats, in particular males need urinary diets after they've been fixed. So spending quite a bit more nowadays on my furbabiesfood but its worth it to avoid those large vet Bill's. They like this one treat. Which I only give them a few once a week. I supplement other urinary treats in between.

    Needs a break.

    By on

She would eat one of these when she would eat nothing else, then she stopped eating these. I figure she just needs a break and will eat them again.

    Good product, cat enjoys

    By on

My cat (somewhat picky eater) really enjoys them and I hope they’re working. There’s no way to tell, aside from waiting to see if there’s a urinary issue down the line. Other reviews say these are too hard, they’re not if you really close the package well and immediately give it to your cat. My cat did let one sit one day for a half hour and it hardened. Took him a few bites to eat it.

The glucosamine has helped with arthritis

    By on

My daughter's cat, Tigger is 6 yrs old now and last year he developed a severe kidney and bladder infection. He has been fine, but I decided to add this supplement to help with his issues. I would take one star off, because I'm not sure if the urinary outcome is any better, but it hasn't gotten any worse. However an added benefit is that his hips and back end seem less painful. He used to growl when I pet him or tried to pick him up. My daughter even used a baby gate to keep him out of some areas because he couldn't jump over it. He now seems to be in very little pain, no growling, and he can easily hop over the gate now. He can also jump 5 feet up from the floor to get on a high cabinet that My daughter's cat, Tigger is 6 yrs old now and last year he developed a severe kidney and bladder infection. He can also jump 5 feet up from the floor to get on a high cabinet that I was using to feed my younger cat. On a side note; Tigger will eat just about any type of cat food or treats, so there was no issue with me getting him to eat them. They are quite hard and about the size of two greenies cat treats, but I suppose they could be crushed for feeding if size is an issue. Because of the hardness, I don't think most older cats would eat these. He's been taking them for about three weeks now. … more

    Beware Stomach Issues

    By on

My cat is older and I thought these would be good for him. My cat likes these supplements. However even given with food as the package says, they cause him to sit by and get in and out of the litter box for hours which I assume is stomach discomfort. So i cannot recommend these even though I think it is a good product based on the ingredients and the brand. My cat does not normally have this issue and it stopped as soon as I stopped giving him this supplement. I even tried 1/2 a piece, same result.
