These are amazing!
Buying a second order of these! I have a stubborn 10 year old Jack Russell Terrier that loves to lift his leg and mark his territory around the house. He’s potty trained but he’s very territorial and I can’t break him of this. I feel like I don’t have to watch him as close anymore. That I can attend to other things without having to constantly keep an eye on him. I think having it on also deters him from attempting to lift his leg and mark his territory. I truly didn’t realize how much these would save the floors. Even just the dribbles. These are super absorbent and convenient, as they are machine washable/reusable. My dog doesn’t seem to mind wearing them so they must be comfortable for him. I personally love the colors they come in. They also shipped to me super quick too. Thank you Chewy!
Gave me a sense of security
I only used these for a few days as my adult foster dog was learning about living in a house, but can say, they saved my sanity. After days of being leashed together as he decompressed and learned the basics, it was so nice to give us both a bit of space without the worry. My foster only released a small amount of urine while wearing these (at least only a few drops were visible on the pad), so the bands never got truly tested for absorbency. However, the band does have a thick pad and what little urine I saw, was drawn into the pad, keeping the lining dry. Machine washed, line dried and they came out looking pristine. The velcro is very strong and the elastic stretchy, so the band fits securely but not overly tight.
Too Small for Extra Large Dogs
We have an English Lab that weights 120 pounds and has a 34 inch waist. The true size for this product, when fully stretched, is only 32.5 inches. Unfortunately, most brands we looked at only stretch to 34 inches. In the future, please consider making your xl size stretch to 36 inches. I would not recommend this product for large dogs over 110 pounds.
Love these
They stopped my elderly dog peeing completely. He doesn't even pee in the diaper. I still take him out 4 or 5 times a day to make him comfortable but he doesn't just go raise a leg in these things like he used to in the living room when he got the urge so it has stopped that and he doesn't ask to go out more. So works for me. No more cueing the floor and rinsing out pee rags ugh...
problem solved!
We own two 130+ pound 8yr old male ridge back littermates. Due to surgery as a puppy, one of them has incontinence issues if unable to go out every few hours, so overnight recently became a problem. Purchased an XL 3-pack of belly bands from pet parents. This product works as described and my furniture is now dry again! Be sure to leave enough slack when wrapping your pooch—leave it loose enough to stick your flat hand under the elastic. The belly band does not need to be super tight, especially the back edge of it because when the dog sits , they’re wider than when laying down or standing. The XL size on my big boys leaves a lot of exposed Velcro. So if your dog is larger than ours, it might not fit. I’m going to go buy some wide velcro strips to cover the exposed loops so they don’t fray or stick to anything he might be laying on. Naturally, my boy hates the belly band, but he doesn’t try to take it off. It doesn’t leak. Be sure to close it before you throw it in the washing machine and air dry it. We love this product!!!
Love these
I've been using this brand for several years and I love them. I keep reading about how people say they leak. I use a poise pad inside the diaper. I change it fairly frequently, and I don't see any leaks. For the sake of the dogs skin, the pad is soft and wicks the fluid away
What a lifesaver!
With have 2 large intact male Great Pyrenees these belly band have been a lifesaver. It is often hard to find products large enough for them. They fit them well and keep them from marking when we have girls in season. No more limiting home time or cleaning up behind them!!!
good diapers
These wraps are almost identical to another product I previously purchased via Chewy. These are not as thick as the other ones. As it turns out that is ok because I use them more as an outer layer and use a disposable inner layer with them when I need it to hold up overnight. The velcro on these and the other wraps is really strong and my dog can't get out of the wraps as he has done occasionally with the disposable ones. I also found matching covers that go over the excess velcro that is exposed (and sticks to everything). Extenders are also available to get the fit right; it would be nice if Chewy offered them.
Not good diapers
I got these for my senior lab mix, and he soaks right through them every time. I definitely prefer the other brand I found on here. But I don't think I'll be purchasing these ones again because it defeats the purpose if they leak.
Not Accurately Sized
Bought these for my dog and another brand that was less expensive. These were a waste of money they are to small but the cheaper brand fit my dog beautifully. Never buy this brand in that size again. I was very disappointed.
