After researching, we purchased these bands for our male cocker spaniel (for reference, he’s tall and weighs 40 lbs., and his measurements were in the Large size range). He’s a new rescue and has been marking all over indoors, so I needed to find him something comfortable that he can wear for several hours at a time. I measured him according to the instructions and ordered the appropriate size based on the size chart. The size chart is not entirely accurate, and these bands run small (as indicated in other reviews). Because he was in the median range for the Large size, I mistakenly assumed that there’d be at least some extra wiggle room if our dog gained/lost a little weight or if the bands shrunk in the washer/dryer. There is absolutely NO extra room, so if these shrink (I recently got them and haven’t washed one yet), we’ll have to order an XL. It seems comfortable, and he doesn’t seem to mind wearing the band. Despite the velcro barely attaching around his waist, the velcro is secure and doesn’t loosen (which is great for our dog because he rolls his whole body on the carpet, and the bands stay put). We purchased the belly bands only to deter/prevent marking or urine drops, and we do NOT anticipate using the bands when he completely urinates. (If we had to rely on the bands to hold pee, I’d probably insert a Huggies preemie diaper, if the band would still fit with the diaper in it, but it might not because the Large size was smaller than indicated.) This is a good product, nice quality, remains secure and prevents marking. However, definitely consider sizing up for your pets. … more

These are a well-made product, but the sizing is way off. At 18" my dogs waist is in the middle of the medium range but they were so tight they leaked last night. Helps Stop Marking
By AstroPotato on Feb 23, 2021
These have been a lifesaver as our male pup started marking as we are awaiting his neuter. First ordered the medium upon measuring, but those a tad snug so we ordered the large. Recommend using pads or liners because the absorbent material can get stinky and become hard to dry after washing. Other than some minor sizing issues and drying, would definitely recommend.

Check sizing
By furbabymom on Feb 22, 2021
I used the measurements & ordered my dog a medium he was right on the edge of small vs medium. They are big around his waist however he can't wear them because the width of them comes 1/2 way up his body. Quality wise they seem good, so I may consider ordering the smaller size.

These work great!
By Hmmm on Feb 20, 2021
I love these little diapers. They fit my little dog perfectly in the small size. He's a 10 year old, 9.5 lb coton de tulear who isn't holding his urine so well, especially since we got a new puppy in the house! I go through a few of these each day, (I bought two packs) and then either machine wash them or hand wash them in the sink. They drip dry beautifully and he isn't bothered by wearing them either.

WeenieWraps
By Tron on Feb 19, 2021
I like to use these wraps because my older Rottweiler tends to have accidents in the house while I’m at work. These protect my furniture and my flooring from being damaged. He is not uncomfortable while he wears these wraps and he actually waits to get them put on.
