Pepper loves this blanket
I purchased the Pet Parents large premium blanket for Pepper, our two-year old "mostly" miniature schnauzer, to put on our new sofa where she sits to look out of the window. She loves it. It must be the plush feel, the coziness, of it. I just purchased the small one to put on our bed so she can sleep in comfort. Fortunately, I have not had the occasion to test the waterproof quality of it. I recommend it.
Love this blanket
We bought this blanket to travel with our little dogs. It worked well on the seat in the car as well as a protector on furniture. We recently had puppies and they love the blanket and cuddle up in it all the time. It helps when mom goes outside to go potty and she covers them with the blanket and they stay nice and warm. I don’t know if it is waterproof but I know my dogs love to snuggle on it! So since they use it often, it is a win in my book!
Not waterproof?
I was super excited to get this blanket for my new puppy and the first night he had an accident on it, it immediately soaked through to my floor. I’m not sure if I received the wrong blanket maybe in my order but this seems to be the right one looking at the packaging, just definitely not waterproof. Super soft though and he does like it, just wish I would’ve spent the money on one that works.
Blanket disappointment
I wanted to love this blanket. It is nice and soft but it is NOT waterproof. Don’t know how this company can advertise as such. I needed this for my crippled cat as he doesn’t always make it to the litter box. I hate using the disposable pads so I will go back to the old, ugly hospital pads.
cozy and really is chew proof
I bought this for our 5 mo old pup who is a hard core chewer and 3 weeks later it's still in great shape. He even drags it out of his crate during hte day to lay down on. Great blankie!
Poorly Represented
The Pawtect Blanket is very thin and flimsy. It does not stay in place on a dog bed, crate or furniture. It's slippery and wads into a ball when my dogs move. Most important, It is NOT waterproof. I will be returning.
LIFESAVER..
We use this blanket for literally everything.. Besides normal blanket use, we use this under our older pup on the bed, we use this in the car for muddy/wet fur after daycare, we used this for our new puppy to line her crate/take her in the car/everything, and NOW she's in her first heat, so we have it covering her favorite spot on the couch. You NEED this blanket.
odd blanket
Smelled very "chemical treated" when it came out of the bag- so I washed it right away (as instructed on Pet Parents website). Worst blanket... the material made it hard for our dog to move around. It kept sticking to him and in 5 minutes the blanket was balled up in a lump. Maybe we needed a size up? But regardless, disappointed.
Great furniture protector
My senior Ragdoll has KD stage 3. He started using my sofa as his personal litter box but only at nighttime. At first, I thought it was a one time accident but this behavior continued. This blanket is a perfect solution. I also bought the pads to have something clean to put down. Both products are a great.
Nice blanket
I'm giving this a 5 mainly because of reviews I have read online. Fortunately, we haven't had to test the waterproof ability as my extremely jittery kitty only marks the couch in one certain spot when she has a bladder infection to let us know she is sick. Love the fact that I don't have to worry about the couch with this nice blanket. It looks and feels like a warm throw and has all the waterproof ability we need without looking like a couch guard. The price was also very reasonable. Hopefully, with the extra litter box and feliway dispenser in the house, we will never have to find out if this blanket really does the job. :)
