Replacement Pair

I had an exact pair of these that I purchased about 2 years back. Unfortunately, I misplaced them. They worked so good that I just bought another pair. No, they don't have certain safety features that high end pet scissors have, but they do the trick. Besides, I'm just taking the tips (about an 1/8 of an inch) off their nails.

a bit of a let down

I got these to replace the current nail trimmer because it’s getting dull and not cutting well anymore. Well these are worse than my old nail trimmers. It shreds the nail, instead of a blunt cut, leaving my bbs nails frayed. I’m so disappointed because I used the same thing at the shelter I used to work at all of the time and they were my favorite. Not sure if I just got a lemon or what, but I am bummed.

Poor quality

I purchased these because I am terrified of hurting my fur babies when I cut their nails (pre-pandemic the vet always did it), and they looked “safe”. They’re “safe” - if by safe you mean that they are about as sharp as children’s scissors - you know, the ones with the rounded tips? And they work just as well too - I struggled with them so much I would have been better off with something sharper - and actually functional. Plus after after only a year they became so stiff I can barely even open them. It’s too late to return them but I’m posting this to save others the trouble! I’m purchasing new ones and tossing these - I don’t want anyone else to be frustrated by them and have to struggle to hold a fur baby still while trying to manage these!

Do a great job

These nail clippers cut my cats nails very well. Of course I used a muzzle on him because he does not enjoy getting his nails cut.

ok for snipping a very short toenail tip, terrible if the nail is longer and not as thin as a toenail tip.

This is really nice!

I use one of these everyday when I'm grooming dogs. I bought one for home too. This works so well on cats and dog nails that aren't too big. It is easier for me to use than any other clipper I've tried, and seems safer to not get the quick. Great price too.
