This is the first comb that has actually been able to get through my Australian Cattle Dog's undercoat and pull out all the shed hair. I have been trying everything for the last 3 years and this is my saving grace. In 15 minutes I made more progress than an hour with the furminator deshedding comb. Wanted to give this a try to help detangle my pups. Their fur gets brushed every day, but still manages to get tangled and matted in some areas (I honestly don’t understand how); even when their fur is trimmed short. I wanted this to avoid any tugging and pulling, but this was surprisingly terrible. Wanted to give this a try to help detangle my pups. I wanted this to avoid any tugging and pulling, but this was surprisingly terrible. This was delivered a couple hours ago and I was so eager to use it. It got stuck in the spots that their normal brush gets through. The only way to get it out was to pull and wiggle, which is what I wanted to avoid. Unfortunately this didn’t work out for us. I’ll be returning this and continuing my search … more

Good product
By MIchelle on Jan 20, 2021
Works great on my cat, just have to go slowly and gently and follow the directions to hold the kittys skin when it starts to tug. My cat isn’t exactly crazy about it, but she mostly tolerates it. She loves to scratch her face against it when not in use, ha.

Works great
By Arleen on Jan 17, 2021
I used this along with Tropiclean Tangle Remover to remove bad knots that had formed on my 14 year old cat’s back. Apply the tangle remover and let it dry before using the rake. Be sure to read the directions that come with the rake to use it properly.

Great for corgi mixes
By StewiesMom on Jan 15, 2021
Works well on dogs with a thick under coat. It helps break up the matted hair. Yes it does thin it out a bit, but on my dog it was hardly noticable. I wish I would have gotten this earlier!

Great for long haired cats
By MaineCoonMom on Jan 10, 2021
I have 3 Maine Coon cats. Find a good grooming tool to get into the fur and break up matts is a challenge. This brush is great for that. And it removes all the loose fur during shedding and breaks up and matted fur easily.. Very gentle on the cats skin. And they love it.

Timesaver!!!
By JMart on Jan 8, 2021
I ordered to keep on hand, because of great reviews I’ve read. It was a real timesaver when a little dog came for grooming and had a few areas of hidden knots. Saved me lots of time and was easy going on the little dog!

Good for long hair cats.
By rollinover on Jan 7, 2021
Good for long hair cats. I also have a Furminator. The Furminator works well, but it works a bit too well. It removes quite a bit of hair, often cause discomfort on my longer hair cats. This dematting take works, but removes less hair because it has less teeth. It keeps the cats looking good and the cats like the way it feels.

Longhair mats
By Janetrae on Jan 7, 2021
It works well, but you have to work with your cat to get them used to working out mats! Treats help !!!
