I do like this better than trying to use a toothbrush or sponges on a stick. However, my fingers are small and I have to stuff a cotton ball in it to secure it. Having to add the cotton ball seems to make it a little harder to feel where you are in the dog’s mouth. The alternative is to put it on my index finger and use my thumb to secure it as I brush - awkward.
A little too large for my dog
on May 1, 2019
I was very excited to receive these toothbrushes, as my Boston terrier is a little apprehensive about traditional style toothbrushes. I put a little bit of peanut butter on the end of the tooth brush and let her lick it off so she wouldn't be as worried with it near her face. Unfortunately when it came to the actual application of the toothbrush, it was too girthy to fit inside her cheek to brush her back molars (the teeth that need the most attention). What I was able to brush in her mouth was very difficult to clean off the finger toothbrush, even after several applications of soap/water.
Toothbrush or chew toy?

Dog keeps trying to get it off my finger to chew on it. Isn't rejecting it so I guess it's working. Anything to get better breath!!!
easy to use

I purchased this since our 9 yr old cockapoo has had to have yearly cleanings which is taking a toll on her having to under anesthesia. I started slow working with her to get her used to it. She has a small mouth so it's a little hard getting into the back teeth, but the design is well made. Might work better if it was slightly pointed at the end.
Can't use these

These came in package of 3. They are large and bulky, probably good for manly fingers not small hands like mine. Also, these are probably meant for big dogs. I have a yorkiepoo and a cocker/cotton. They are uncomfortable with this big thing that I can't even keep on my finger... I would return it but can't since I opened the package and used one...
Size too large for my dog's mouth
on May 7, 2019
We tried to use this for our pups who are about 12 & 15 pounds. They were awkward and too big for their little mouths. So not sure if they are effective or not. Wish they would have come in varying sizes. Very disappointed.
GOOD START TO DENTAL CARE

This is a handy tool. During your puppy's chewing to help cutting teeth feel better, this is a good beginning tool to your puppy's dental hygiene for the rest of his life.

Cleaning bristles too stubby therefore hurt my dog's gums! Will use my old finger brush's.
Toothbrush is too big for my dogs
on Jul 3, 2019
Tried this toothbrush for my two Maltese Cockapoos (24 lbs and 20 lbs) and it was too big/awkward for their mouths.
This would be great if it was softer

The brushes are to stiff for my little dogs gums. I would like if they were softer. I can't use it.
