I thought this would be easier to use than a regular dog toothbrush. I found this was not the case. Too bulky to get at all areas of my dog's mouth. Fortunately I found a toothbrush that I had previously purchased for her.
I like the product...

The bristles are soft and work well but the individual brushes don't necessarily have a great fit on the finger. It's a good start for us since I've never brushed my dog's teeth before but I'd probably try something different next time.

Smear it with toothpaste and good to go. My beagle allows me to brush her teeth just fine and will gnaw on the bristles long after the toothpaste is gone. To clean it after use, I scrub it with a regular (people) toothbrush and rinse well to get remnants out.
Didn't work for me & maltese puppy
on Oct 26, 2018
I didn't like this finger toothbrush. They were too big on my finger so it made it very difficult to keep the bristles facing the way they were suppose to go. My puppy was only 1lb when I got her, so these were much too big for her mouth for a long time.
That was a bust

Finger brush much stiffer than I expected. Wouldn't stay on finger so unable to coax cat to accept it in his mouth. It kept falling off. ( I have big hands for a woman)
Works great, just like the other better!

I had bought these & were fine but liked the other tooth brushes at Chewy better because my Maltese babies were smaller but liked them both!
Too large for my kitties
on Sep 25, 2018
I have two kitties, and these wouldn’t really work for their mouths. A human toothbrush works better. These are just pretty large for cats. I imagine they work for dogs. My cats actually enjoy a good toothbrushing but had trouble with these in their small mouths. I’m hoping their is a tinier size because I’ve been trying to focus on dental hygiene, and these seem easier. If I use a brush, they always brush too hard which can be painful for my kitties. The material for these seems clean and easy (no hard scrubbing)
Trying to combat dental disease

My cats aren’t thrilled about me trying to put my finger in their mouth but I think once they get use to this these, brushing their teeth will be easier.

These would be perfect if only my pupper had a bigger mouth. I found the fit to be perfect on my finger, and it felt like it would be so easy to use for a larger dog. The brush is nice and soft and would probably work wonderfully. The product deserves five stars...the fault I can't use them lies with me for misjudging the size of my Sadie's mouth. She may be a loud mouth...but she's not a big mouth.
A little too large
on Nov 14, 2018
I have 40 lbs australian shepherds, and these are a little to large to clean their teeth properly. I wish I could return. :(
