Pet Standard Water Filters for PetSafe Drinkwell Avalon, Pagoda, Sedona & Seascape Pet Fountains, 12 count

There are some bad reviews and I don’t get why. Yes; if a filter is over a week old and nasty it will stop airflow unless you take it out and shake the charcoal up or change it. I change it every week or so and have a stock filter for my fountain. We have no issues with regular cleaning. Filters produce clean water without charcoal reside

As stated in reviews, filters will work for a few days, then water slows to a trickle, not enough to clean water. I peeled back the bottom (large end) cover of the filter, emptied the charcoal and found a round, pillow type filter at the top (small) end. I removed that, replaced the charcoal, smoothed the bottom cover back over and it restored the water flow. I did that to all the filters in this bulk pack. I recommend that you buy the branded filters next time you purchase filters.

I should have read the reviews... These filters only run for a day or two before they slow flow to a dribble... Try another brand not these...

I have been using these filters for my Avalon fountain for a few years, but always purchased them as a four pack. Was a bit put off when I discovered that I had to purchase a 12 pack on my last Chewy order, but figured I would need to order them less often. I was pleasantly surprised by the appearance of the filters- seemed a bit neater, and there was much less charcoal dust coming out of the filters when I rinsed them, prior to use.

I never write reviews, but this time I must. I, too, bought these filters for the cost savings, thinking...from the promo...that they were standard filters for Drinkwell Avalon fountain. I have two of the Avalon fountains, and my cats LOVE them. These filters are a complete waste of money. Like many of the other reviews say, these filters are covered with very dense material which does not let the water filtrate well. And the fountains get very dirty, and the water will not run after only a few days. My kitties quit drinking from them very quickly. So far out of the 12 filters in the box, I have had to change 5 of them within a matter of days each time. One time I actually changed the I never write reviews, but this time I must. I haven't called Chewy about these, since technically this is not a Chewy problem, and I do not feel they should be responsible for it. I have been using the Pagoda filters for several years without issue by Petsafe, so I tried these and found that they clog within 4 days and leaves charcoal sediment on the bottom and then the pump will stop working, ( i even got a new pump) but the same thing happened. Went back to my old filters.I would not recommend this product

We have the pagoda fountain and this filter is very easy to replace. In my opinion it also lasts longer than they suggest.

These are junk. Don't waste your money. The media inside (which is charcoal) is in bags that are not permeable.The ones purchased in the past, the media inside was loose. Water doesn't run through these. In fact long term use would probably burn up your pump. New design? Maybe. If so, that designer should be fired! So now I have a Fountain and 24 filters I can't use. Hope this review helps someone not waste money on these.

I now have these filters for 2 different pet drinking fountains. These are great, last well, priced affordably. Thank you.

They work great and are cheaper to use than the name brand.
