Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet’s exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet’s long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet’s weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

Several of my older cats have health problems and when I add this to their food or dose them with it, there is a noticeable increase in appetite and activity levels. None object to the taste and some like it enough to eat food normally shunned.
I love this item. I try to make sure that my cat gets his vitamins daily. And other vitamins that I've purchased in the past haven't gone over very well with him. He wouldn't eat the part of his food that had the vitamins on it. This he eats and seems to like.
My cat was licking everything, read could be a vitamin deficiency, super easy to use by adding to food. Cleared up the problem in a couple weeks.
My vet recommended this for my ferrets, and even though Monster passed away 9 months ago, Dabu, who is 6 years old, loves it, she will lick the syringe and tries to eat it.
I can't say I know if this works for anemia, because we only just started giving it to our slightly anemic crunchatarian 14 year old girl cat. She was previously taking Amino B+K drops straight from the dropper and did fine with those. Our vet switched us to these and the first dose was awful for our girl. The second dose, I tried mixing it with a half tsp Inaba Churu liquid treat (sort of like compounding it myself) and that helped a lot, but she was still upset about it and trying to run away. And the dose was huge, so it took awhile to syringe it into her mouth. If it helps her, I'll keep trying it, but I'm not sure why it tastes so horrible and why it has sugar in it.
I auto shipped this item since last winter for my lab of 15+ years as a supplement to boost her red cell count when she was suffering from chronic kidney disease. It helped for a time but the disease is progressive and ultimately fatal. She died 3 days ago. I am bereft. I called to cancel this auto ship and was told to donate the 4 sealed bottles to charity and my account was credited. Then this morning my doorbell rang and flowers with a condolence card from Chewy were waiting. I am truly touched by the compassion of this company.
I have a couple of older cats who need extra iron & Petinic is easy to give & most cats are not repulsed by the taste. This is a good value for the size bottle received.
My dog is a fussy eater and does not take medicine well. However she’s had no problem with this supplement. I mix with her wet food in the morning.
sprinkled in on my dog's food and she gobbles it up. 2nd dog even comes in to try to see if there is something left.
We have been giving this product to our 2 Chihuahuas for 9 yrs. They like it and are healthy except for lifelong genetic joint issues.
