Why does it have rice brand as a first ingredient, rice suppose to be bad for cats???

Rice bran is a good source of fiber for cats because it provides the fermentability for good bacteria without lowering the digestibility of other food. When used in cat food some consumers raise concerns as rice bran may cause a decrease in some amino acids in cats. However, this has not been proven and the amount in Pet Vitamin Co Shed Free Krill Oil supplement is insufficient to have a negative effect on cats’ health.

How many do you give daily

This supplement is fed based on your pet's weight. Pets weighing 0-30 pounds should have 1/2 chew, 31-60 pounds should have 1 chew, and 61 or more pounds should have 2 chews. After 6 weeks, cut dose in half.
