Are there any side effects of this supplement? Vomiting, etc.?

As an all natural product, the Blood Sugar Gold Dog & Cat Supplement is generally very well tolerated. Allergies to herbs, like any product, can happen, but they are extremely rare and usually very minor. It does contain some liver support, which can have detoxifying effects. This may include some slight changes in stool for a time, but this is not very common nor should it be severe. It is only recommended to use this supplement if a diagnosis of Diabetes has been confirmed by a vet. Safe use in pregnant animals or animals intended for breeding has not been proven. If animal's condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian. An examination from a veterinarian is recommended prior to using this product. Product may be hypoglycemic. May heighten the effect of blood-sugar-lowering drugs. Monitor blood sugar levels closely if administering this product with blood sugar lowering drugs. A veterinarian can help to ensure optimal blood sugar levels are maintained.
Blood Sugar Gold works for our 11 year old recently diabetic Havanese. He gets 2 insulin shots per day but was still averaging a blood count of about 120, within a week of using this he's averaging 70.

Our dog went from 2 insulin shots to 1
At first I was skeptical, but after about a week of use our senior MinPin, Chocolate, went from needing insulin twice in a day to once! It’s possible that he could come off the insulin completely in the future. It had that much positive effect. It does require consistent use to make the difference. I much prefer these drops to injections and so does he! He has no problem with the taste either. I mix the drops in with his dinner and he eats his food the same as when it’s not in it.

Not bacon flavor.
This product is strongly medicinal/herbal smelling. I showed my kitty a drop and he gagged. I've literally never seen him gag before. I wish he would have liked the taste so I could have seen if the product could help with his blood sugar levels.

Really good product
My cat is diabetic and would run and hide when she saw the needle with insulin. I've been using this in her food and it's keeping her from getting sick.

Skeptical - But it Works
My senior dog was on death's door as we could not get his insulin under control. As a last effort, we purchased these - that was almost four months ago. He will never be 100% but giving him the drops twice a day allows him to live comfortably.

Bloodwork proves it works!
My 15.5 year old Carly (cat) was diagnosed with stage 3 CKD last November. Yes she can't stand the taste but after 3 months on this her kidney values decreased to slightly above normal. She doesn't vomit and the overdrinking has stopped too. You have to keep at it like I said she doesn't like it but it works. The bottle does leak when shaken but not that bad. I use another dropper to put in her mouth to keep the contents clean. I put the drops in a dose cup then suck that up with the dropper that goes in her mouth. She also gets phos-bind on the meat flavor food and epakitin on the seafood. Phosphorus level is normal now. She eats what she has always eaten refused the kidney diet and all meds/supplements from the vet.

Does not work
I should have know better by reading some of the reviewers. Put my cat on this because I can’t catch him for injections. He was on it 3 weeks and test at vet showed it did nothing. Glucose was still the same.

I Was Skeptical But This Really Does Help...
It felt like my dog was on death's door as we could not get his sugar under control - he was constantly drinking water and urinated at all hours of the night. We bought this as a final effort and lone behold within days we have seen extreme results where he is back to sleeping through the night. It won't cure blood sugar issues but it definitely helps

Refused to eat food with even 2 drops of this
Have a young cat who has a ravenous appetite, I feed him wet food multiple times a day and he is still skinny, so I wanted to try this before spending hundreds at the vet for bloodwork etc. He wouldn't eat beyond the first bite or two of food with this in it even when I divided his recommended dose to 2 drops at a time!!!

Sugar gold is a good product
I started using this 2 weeks ago to help jump start her liver in making her on insulin and reduce the dosage amount of insulin I have to give her daily.
