Miracle Product
By Yaya on Jan 3, 2021
My vet suspects my chihuahua has a collapsed trachea. I tried honey and another cough product but neither worked as well as this. Plus my chihuahua loves the taste. That makes me very happy because he is very picky.

sadly, hasn’t helped at all
By Rachel on Nov 6, 2020 Top 500 Contributor
It’s been a few days of using this product on my pup. He coughs every time he drinks water and the vet suspects a partially collapsed trachea. But they don’t recommend surgery since the success rate isn’t very high. So I’ve been looking into alternative options to help him. I was encouraged by the high reviews here but these haven’t helped him at all. He still coughs after drinking water and he’s even started started to breathe heavier. :( so sad that this didn’t work, especially because it’s so expensive.

Very helpful
By Moxie on Jul 8, 2020
My shih tzu has a collapsing trachea which causes frequent coughing fits between her 3xDaily dose of Hydroc/homat. I’ve been relying on Throat Gold for dogs to quiet her cough between doses and it works great. She’s not fond of the taste but I mix it with honey and she loves it. It lets her get back to napping until time for her next dose. Thank you for a great product!

Used for coughing from tracheal collapse
By Skylar on Jul 18, 2020
I have used this product for about a month now on our chi. I was skeptical but you will do anything to help prevent this cough from tracheal collapse. I can say that it has really helped. I am now ordering the 4 oz bottle. He 14 years old and actually seems to have more energy!

Product Not Used Yet
By Briarpatch on Feb 20, 2020
I am pleased to find a mix of natural ingredients to soothe my young Golden's throat when she irritates it with her desire to chew up everything. She was much improved when I received the product and unfortunately my attempt to dose her failed as the dropper seemed to be defective and would not hold the solution. I have gotten a new dropper, but will not use it until she once again is irritated. Therefore I cannot rate the product as to its effectiveness yet. I only added the rating because it is required.

THROAT GOLD
By Granny on Nov 30, 2019
I have Ben using Petwellbeing Throat Gold, for several years on my 13 year old Chi! She has enlarged heart, and it is pressing on her trachea making her cough! The vet way back had put her on oxycodon, she stopped coughing, but her body turned bright red, and she tried to eat herself! I did some research, found this product and put her on it, and she has been doing very well since she’s been taking it! I put it in her food, and she loves it! I know it’s exspensive, but in getting the 4oz size you can save $$$

Seems to help
By nati on Dec 30, 2019
I have been using this for a week and it has reduced the amount of coughing my dog has due to her collapsed trachea. She does still cough if she gets extremely excited but it's not nearly as much as before I started using this product. I am pleased that I found this!

dog hates the taste
By buddy on Oct 3, 2019
Had high hopes but dog won’t touch it unfortunately. He tried it, made a face and ran away. So can’t comment on if it even works. I’ll update this if I ever get him to try it.
