Gradually transition by adding a small amount of American Journey to your dog's current diet, gradually reducing the amount of the current diet and increasing the amount of American Journey for 7 - 10 days until the transition is complete. For sensitive dogs, we recommend a 10 - 14 day transition.
Where do people come up with the stuff they put in their reviews? Its easy to mix and freeze. It has bonito flakes but the smell was appealing. Like cream of wheat sort of. It was tried on a total of 8 cats and they all liked or loved it. It was strange at first for all of them because of the frozen thing. And just a very unusual treat. I will buy it again for sure. None of them threw up or had an adverse reaction. I know some cats may have an aversion or stomach reaction but this is worth a try. 5 stars all the way for us.
got this on somewhat of a whim for my kittens first birthday, knowing they may not like or eat it, but i still wanted to try.. glad i took the chance, because they absolutely loved it!! even the two picky eaters! will definitely get it again at some point :) major plus that goats milk is very good for cats (and dogs!) digestion !! ps. for those that complained it was too icy, all you have to do is let it thaw for a while longer than stated. i left it out for around 30-45 mins each time i wanted to feed them a snack, and it got much more creamy/gooey. pretty obvious fix lol
I wasn’t sure if my car would like this but she is OBSESSED. I bought it for her birthday was she can’t get enough
Making this ice cream for my kitties was fun and easy. Unfortunately they did not car two bits about it but I have extra in freezer
I think this is a great idea, & it was easy to mix together. My Sally just didn't like it. She is super picky
My kitty Khloe loves ice cream. Bought this thinking it would be a better alternative. It never melts and Khloe didn't not eat. She tried, but it was too solid. Do not recommend.
Immediately after my cat ate this he threw up everywhere.
I was hoping that they would like it but they’re picky
This was a big hit with our two cats. It was easy to make - add water, mix, and freeze. To serve to the cats, I just let it sit out for 15-20 minutes to soften. They seemed to prefer it when it was a little softer, but once it was ready, we couldn't keep them away from it. One cat will even start begging whenever we eat human ice cream now because she thinks it's this!
This is a great idea for your cat, but it smells like rotten fish and wouldn't soften for me at all. I left it out for 4 hours, and it was still rock solid. I had a horrible experience with this product. My kitten wanted to eat it, but he couldn't.
