Cute but frustrating
Just opened for Christmas. The butterfly went super fast and both cats just stared at it. Withing a few minutes, it stopped spinning. It just flipped on the floor like a wounded bird. One cat popped it a couple times, it went in a circle a couple times, then back to flopping. We thought maybe it was the battery, changed that. Flipping. We tried moving from hard wood floor to carpet, no difference. The cats seem interested, that flutter sound is great, it just doesn't move enough.
Absolutely Great…For abut 2 hours
My 6mo old male kitten loved it! He played fiercely with it and did to it what he did to the Palmetto Bug he found in my closet two months ago. Absolutely destroyed it. (But that was a good thing.) It took about 2 hours for it to go from the best toy ever, to a cheap piece of junk. I duct taped the butterfly, minus the plastic body back onto the wire, and it works, but doesn’t hold his attention as well without the realistic antennae.
Butterfly Happiness
I have 3 of these butterflies for my cat...she loves them!!! She never gets bored playing with them as she does other toys I have gotten for her!!!
Warning Item is JUNK
The toy was so cheaply made. It seems like something you'd pick out at the discount store. It's tiny and does not keep my cat's interest at all. Another poorly manufactured piece of junk for the landfill. Would not recommend.
Cats are obsessed
This toy is awesome. The boys can not get enough! They actually request that it be turned back on when I turn it off. How dare I try to save batteries 😝 My only complaint is that the butterfly is not the best. We got the toy on Monday, it is now Friday and the butterfly's wing has already been torn off. This is a toy for cats, it should be made a little stronger considering they have claws and sharp teeth. All-in-all, I would definitely recommend this toy.
Cheap and flimsy
Our cat liked it but within a month a foot had broken off the base and the internal motor completely stopped working. He still chases the butterfly around but that is also very flimy. The wings tear easily and the wire bends out of place. Really disappointed in this.
hysterical watching
Watching our cats plays with this makes us laugh. With the mess our country is in having a laugh is good for us. I would highly recommend this for human enjoyment. Even our little old dog likes it.
Best Toy Ever
My cat loves this. She plays with it until the battery dies. If she sees it on the table she will reach up and try to get it. I am looking for more like this with variations.
Finally!!!
After searching for weeks I've finally found an interactive independent toy my boy likes and will consistently play with. The others are too fast, too slow or just not entertaining to him. Instant hit out the box. He loses interest after he's caught it several times and I wish it changed directions after he's swatted it for some variety of movement but when I turn it on again later he's into it again.
Cheaply made.
Very disappointed in this toy. The butterfly doesn't even get off the floor as it circles around. My cat hates it.
