It’s not only a reward of treats, but it also rewards him with physical and mental activity—which has loads of benefits! By keeping him engaged he’ll stay happy and healthy, and less prone to bored, destructive behavior.
Key Benefits- Mentally and physically engages your dog to combat boredom, anxiety and destructive behaviors.
- Can help slow the pace of eating for healthier digestion and less weight gain.
- 3-inch size works great for a smaller pup, plus you can adjust the difficulty level to suit his needs or to maintain interest as he learns.
- Promotes long-lasting interest by dispensing just a few pieces at a time—fill it with treats or kibble and watch your best friend play for hours!
- Disassembles easily for thorough cleaning with soap and water.
Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Fun and stimulating
By Amanda on Jan 22, 2021
I'm setting this at 5 stars with a likely caveat that the plastic will shatter with too many hard hits. I have a year old lab/pit mix and she needs a lot of stimulation and exercise, mental and physical. We left all three pieces in to challenge her and she sent it careening around the tile happily. It is VERY loud crashing into things. Once she realized the point of it, she was delighted to batter it around to get the treats. She figured out quickly that the rug will help her work systemically, then realized her bed pens it in even better. Sigh. I would not leave her unattended with this because I think the plastic will break with her exuberance, but it definitely keeps her distracted and happy I'm setting this at 5 stars with a likely caveat that the plastic will shatter with too many hard hits. Questionable Function
By George on Jan 20, 2021
My dog is a 16 lb. Schnoodle. He is unable, or uninterested, to tip this product even after I demonstrate it for him. It does take a fair amount of pushing to tip this product. I have great success from filling a KONK toy with his kibble, soaking it with water, and freezing it. He seems to get a lot of fun from this toy as it dispenses food slowly as it thaws. There is not enough moisture to leave spots of water on the floor. I keep a small size ready for when I am making a short trip, and two larger ones to keep him occupied when I am away longer. He seems to have enjoyed these and continues to play with the KONG toy after I return.

Good mind toy
By Pupsmom on Jan 18, 2021
I got this bc our dog trainer wanted our Boxer pup to have something to think about other than just gorging herself at the food bowl. For lunch each day I put half her food in this ball and she rolls it around to get the other half of her meal. I took the inside pieces out to make it easier for her to get the food out and that works well. She enjoys the play and it’s good for her mind to have to figure it out. I feel sure it’s also good for her digestion since she isn’t pigging out on her food. For breakfast and dinner I put a small chew toy in her bowl she has to eat around. Also recommended by our dog trainer. It’s certainly slowed down her eating, which was needed!

Greatest thing ever!!!
By BellasMom on Jan 16, 2021
Our little girl has hours of fun pushing and pulling on this awesome little toy. She lives the challenge and the reward of one of her favorite treats (it's her regular food, lol). She's played with it for 3 weeks and it's still as good as new. We enjoy watching her learn control and navigation if something she can't sink her teeth into. Kodos to this manufacturer!!! Thanks to Chewy.com. Great buy, fast shipping and worth every penny!!!!

What a BLAST
By momof3 on Jan 8, 2021
we have 3 dogs various ages and sizes. Our 'baby" is the 1-1/2year old german shepherd. she is extremely playful and has decided this is her personal toy so she hides it in her crate. Our middle girl, a rescued bulldog, is the lady in charge and has no problem going in to root around for the coveted toy!! From then on it is a free for all with our baby chasing the ball around the entire house and the other two profiting from the windfall of treats and following the parade route picking up treats!!! It has been a good fun distraction for winter months. We use their kibble instead of "treats" and they love it!

Favorite Christmas present!
By CarrieB on Dec 31, 2020
This was by far the most popular gift this year. Of course they got several toys, treats, etc but this has been the favorite. One of our two dogs is very food motivated and plays with this all throughout the day. I just put regular dry dog food in it and they love it. I started out taking out the two removable pieces to make it easy for them to get some out until they got the hang of it. Once they had some success I added the second piece back to make it a bit more challenging. I like the hard plastic much better than the softer rubber ones that they can chew on. I have two medium sized dogs and it is the perfect size. They can pick it up and carry it a little ways but can't chew on it This was by far the most popular gift this year. Good concept, just not very sturdy
By woosinatress on Jan 11, 2021
My dogs figured this out very quickly, but they also broke it very quickly. They discovered if they just stepped on it really hard it would either break in half or go flying across the room, hit something, and then break in half. Then jackpot! At first I thought I hadn't screwed it together correctly but after they did it four or five times back to back I determined it was just the ball being messed up. But it provided some good entertainment up until that point!

Great toy for entertaining dog indoors
By CandaceM on Jan 17, 2021
This thing is pretty sturdy, so far it's held up to my 10-month-old puppy's jaws, although we don't let him chew on it too much. There are three pieces inside that interconnect, and you can remove them separately to make it easier for your dog. Just wish it held more kibble when pieces are inside. I recommend blocking off the area your dog is playing with this toy just in case things get knocked around.

Roll em', Raleigh!
By loki on Jan 13, 2021
I truly thought my dog wouldn't even look at the IQ Treat Toy. Wow! Was I wrong! If I need an hour of peace from him, I simply fill the container and let it roll. The interesting thing is that my dog does get frustrated if he can't reach the ball in a location. That's when he runs to me and barks, then runs back to where the ball is stuck so that I can remove it, and he can continue knocking it around for another hour. IT'S GREAT!!!

You need very small treats and a patient dog.
By Gidget on Jan 19, 2021
I like this thing, but it gets rolled off into another dimension and thus lost for weeks at a time, because it is so difficult to get the treats out of those holes. So it's great for occupying your dog, but only if it's findable. My husband thinks our dog is hiding it on purpose, but she does engage with it a lot, when we can find it. Ha ha. I think it's where lost socks go right now.
