By keeping him engaged he’ll stay happy and healthy, and less prone to bored, destructive behavior.
Key Benefits- Mentally and physically engages your dog to combat boredom, anxiety and destructive behaviors.
- Can help slow the pace of eating for healthier digestion and less weight gain.
- 3-inch size works great for a smaller pup, plus you can adjust the difficulty level to suit his needs or to maintain interest as he learns.
- Promotes long-lasting interest by dispensing just a few pieces at a time—fill it with treats or kibble and watch your best friend play for hours!
- Disassembles easily for thorough cleaning with soap and water.
Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Great for my GSD/Akita mix
By Summer on Feb 24, 2021
I have had this a week and am very pleased with it so far, despite fearing my dog would break it by throwing it around on tile floors. The easiest setting still keeps her occupied for about an hour before she takes a break. I put most of her breakfast meal in the ball, so it works as a slow-feed option as well. For reference my dog is a German Shepherd mix weighing 60lbs, she can just barely fit the 4inch ball in her mouth. She isn't particularly food obsessive, but has enough desire to make this a hit, although it may be more the "ball" that is fun as opposed to the food. She cannot crush it at all. An 85lb+ dog may be able to get enough force to crush the ball if they have big jaws, but it's I have had this a week and am very pleased with it so far, despite fearing my dog would break it by throwing it around on tile floors. YES for Big Dogs/Tough Chewers
By Lydd on Feb 21, 2021
We have a 100lb Labrador Retriever. He is full of energy and tears through every single toy within 10 minutes, tops. He goes through rawhide in the same amount of time. He is 3 years old and we have only ever found 2 toys he could not destroy which he got tired of due to lack of havoc to wreck. BUT THIS TOY keeps him occupied and engaged, gets him moving and he has not been able or interested in destroying. It did take him a full day to understand it. He was not interested in it for most of the first day. Second day though he was searching the house for it. We started out with only the main middle piece and none of the others that make this toy more difficult. That has been very good for him We have a 100lb Labrador Retriever. LOVE LOVE LOVE
By AMR1 on Feb 27, 2021
Our mini poodle loves this thing. I’ve tried several interactive toys and he always figured them out too quickly and would lose interest. This one is fabulous and keeps him busy for long periods of time when I fill it. We’re all stuck inside with COVID and my “ball tossing arm” has been worn out. This is a great alternative! Tip: use soft training treats and put some closest to the hole on their first time. After they’re hooked, load the treats into the very bottom compartment to make it more challenging. Would definitely recommend!

Super engaging! Noisy
By Ladybug on Mar 1, 2021
I gave this to my pup for the first time today and she loves it. I took all the inserts out (for now) and added kibble so it’s around 1/3 full. It took about 20 minutes for her to finish. Now she’s taking a well-deserved snooze after that hard work! As other reviewers have mentioned, the ball is noisy, especially on hard floors. Also, the 4” ball does fit in her mouth (55lb hound-pit mix). The plastic is very sturdy, and it’s round, so I don’t think she’ll be able to destroy it, but I’ll update the review if she does.

Pixie’s FAVE!
By pixieandme on Feb 25, 2021
My dog Pixie absolutely loves this ball! She gets it twice sometimes three times a day and will chase around for hours sometimes. I like it because it’s a reward system so the more she plays and moves the more treats she gets which is great exercise. My other dog Maya, not a fan and couldn’t figure it out. So just be aware there is an intuitiveness to it. Some dogs will get it and some just won’t. Those that do get it will love it! Pixie is also a super chewer and has yet to break this hard plastic ball. She’s tried! But it’s held up for over a year now.

Great entertainment
By Palm on Feb 26, 2021
We bought this back in October for our 3 month old puppy. It became an instant favorite as she is very food motivated. Four months later and she still loves it. It’s been great for both mental and physical stimulation especially when the weather is bad and we can’t go outside as much. It holds a lot of kibble/treats and can keep her entertained for a while. It’s durable. It can be noisy, especially on hard surfaces but it doesn’t bother us too much. Would definitely recommend.

Great but so loud
By Treatball on Feb 26, 2021
We love this treat ball. Only problem is how loud it is rolling across hardwood floors and then when the dog slams it into the baseboards. One year old lab mix uses this every day, we put kibble and some bigger pieces of treats in it. It doesn't hold a whole lot, but it does take some moving around for treats to fall out, so a good 5-10 minutes of entertainment with one filling, which is maybe a couple tablespoons worth of kibble.

No patience for this toy...
By ShelbersStuff on Mar 4, 2021
Not only do I not have patience for this toy but neither does my dog. It's like one of those puzzles you have as an adult to figure out how to get the ball out of the hole. It's not made to reinforce playing. My dog will get one treat out of it, push it around for a few more minutes and then give up. I have to move the treat to the top of the ball so more come out. I think there are better models out there.

Good for inquisitive dogs
By Ango on Mar 4, 2021
got the small size for 1 of my little dogs but it was not clicking with him at ALL which i should have foreseen considering his personality. my pit mix however figured it out right away and loved it, i will have to order her a size up. my only design complaint is that there is a lip around the final hole that dispenses treats and sometimes it can hinder them from dispensing more than it seems necessary.

Picky Eater
By DogandCatMom on Feb 27, 2021
I am obsessed. My dog is a very picky eater and refuses to eat dry food, but as soon as I put it in the puzzle ball, he was so excited because he thought they were treats! He has been rolling the ball around, getting his dry food out and eating it along the way since the moment I put it on the ground for him. Thank you Chewy!!
