Excellent with a few adjustments
I had a Littermaid for years and was sad for it to finally quit since the newer model was not to my liking. I decided to try Pet Zone since it was the closest in design to my old litterbox. I have a very large cat so a larger pan size was important. This litter box works similar to my old one with the exception that I had to switch litter types and fill it a little more than the line indicated to get it to rake half way decently. Otherwise it does not rake all the way to the bottom. My only gripe is that I wish the timer was shorter between when the cat leaves the box and when it starts the cleaning cycle. I liked this box enough to buy a second one, when we added a second cat to our family.
Don't waste your money!!
This litter box skims over the top of the litter and leaves the urine soaked litter at the bottom of the box. Very stinky!! Once the urine has dried to the bottom, the rack gets higher and higher and then leaves feces at the end of the box as well. I am using the litter that was recommended by the litter box manufactorer. Very disappointed in this!! See photo for what the litter looks like after the rack just went over the box! I want my money back! DO NOT waste your money on this!!
Amazing for the price
For the price point it's amazing. We have a house full of cats thanks to an unexpected litter and this definitely helps keep up. Make sure your litter clumps. Clean the grate when you change the bags (we have to do daily because kittens, parent, grandparents). I bought a second to help with the load.
unsatisfied
I'm not satisfied with this product. It stopped in the middle of cycle on the second day and It's not cleaning properly. It runs, but not clean 100 percent.
garbage product
Had this litter box 3 months. Already fell apart. Acres fell out. Stopped scooping. Trying to get a replacement. Will update when I find out what they going to so
Nah - Don't
I was REALLY hoping this could do better than our litter robot 3 that continues to break every other month... No luck. I wish I could return it and get a refund. Not worth the money. I'd rather scoop myself. The scraper doesn't touch the bottom so the used litter just gets caked to the bottom and the pan itself isn't really all that large.
Great for the price!
Overall works well! I have 3 cats and need to empty the container every 1 or 2 days but it's really quick to just dump out. If you use too much litter it might get stuck but you can just turn it off and back on to fix that. I plan to buy another one to replace my upstairs litter box too
Works great
All the bad reviews are misleading, you have to make sure it's positioned right and has enough room to move back and forth! Other than the annoying blinking light this product works really well!
Great idea, execution???
Have mixed feelings about this, first one, waste receptacle wouldn't snap down...Chewy's most excellent customer service sent me a new one. With that one, I like the motor up where it has the line, and it runs once, then goes back about 1" PAST the line, which means next time it runs it doesn't go totally to the end, and misses smaller pieces. I contacted the manufacturer and tried their troubleshooting, didn't work. So they sent me a new motor and tray, which does the same thing. So I find myself having to watch it and use the scraping paddle to knock the small pieces in. As well as it takes regular scraping the bottom to get the urine clumps that stick to the bottom, and lift them to the top so the rake can grab them and drop them in. I'm not sure about their quality control. But prices was among the lowest, but my kitty is a young growing boy who eats a lot, and produces plenty for it to work with. Anyone else found this or am I an outlier?
Doesn't clean
This litter box is not worth it. I read the reviews and still bought it and just like all the other reviews, it doesn't work. It does not sense my cat in it so therefore it does not self clean. It also gets stuck. I did use clumping cat litter so when I would manually press the button it worked but that's not the point of an automatic motion sense cleaning litter box.
