For stressed birds and reptiles, Bene-Bac Plus Bird & Reptile Gel Supplement provides the added probiotic support they need to make it over life’s rocky patches. Ideal for animals recovering from illness, post-antibiotics or just after birth, breeding, weaning, worming or travel, this powerful probiotic blend can help restore digestive balance and promote overall good health. Recommended any time your little dinosaur experiences changing physical, nutritional or environmental circumstances.

Key Benefits
  • It contains seven different microorganisms found in the GI tracts of birds and reptiles, with FOS prebiotics to promote gut health.
  • Each gram of Bene-Bac contains 20 million colony-forming units of viable bacteria.
  • Great for reptiles and birds who are undergoing physical or other stressors that may disrupt the delicate microbiome balance.
  • Recommended for birds and reptiles who are being hand-fed or weaning, too.
  • Convenient gel formula can be placed directly in the mouth or mixed into food.

For animal use only. Keep out of reach of children and animals. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health care professional immediately.

for after antibiotics for my birds

By Scottch on Sep 4, 2021

had to administer antibiotics to one of my parrots, cured the problem but her poop wasn't right afterward, this did the trick (have also used it on reptiles in the past). Oh, and she eats it with no problem.

    great stuff

By Nonnie on Jan 16, 2021

my imprinted starling loves this stuff. I refrigerate it tho it doesn't need to be , as it firms the gel and keeps it from melting in my fingertips as I offer it to him. Recommended dose for him is 1/4 inch once or twice a week , but he would eat much more if I let him. Of course I tasted it myself- yum! That means it is easy to get into him. it also seems to make a difference in the texture of his poops...more formed. my hope is that he is able to extract more nutrients from his food with the assistance of the pro-biotic organisms. Truth be told ,tho, I'd buy it for him just because he enjoys it-because I love my bird.
