Description

Boost your pal’s daily calorie count without adding more food with the PetAg High Calorie Gel Cat Supplement. Specially designed to provide additional calories in spoon-sized savings, this easy-to-feed gel meets the high-calorie needs of growing kittens, pregnant or nursing moms, cats recovering from surgeries and illnesses, and even older cats. The extra calories go toward maintaining optimal kitty weight and health, including supporting a healthy skin and coat, as well as providing him with the energy he needs for daily activity. Plus, thanks to its delicious chicken flavor, it can be used to supplement the diets of finicky felines that don’t eat enough. With highly-digestible vegetable fats, it’s also easy on sensitive kitty tummies.

    Hoped she would like

By CaitsMom on Feb 3, 2021

I always feel bad giving reviews on food items for my cat, she was very picky. I was hoping that she would like the gel for an added boost(she was 19yrs old) but it was a no go. It may have been the malt flavoring.

    Helping save my cat!

    By Rodeocrazy1 on Dec 7, 2020

A vet totally misdiagnosed my best friend Simon a 7 year old cat. They told me he had cancer and basically there was no hope. They ultra-sounded him and found a mass with fluid on his spleen. I was devastated and went back to my last vet to get a second opinion. He took x-rays of his lungs and found no cancer but found he had Histo. instead. This added up to all of the systems he had. He was skin over bones and was not eating. He had been wasting away. I ordered this on Thursday and let them know my -problem and It was delivered Saturday. He is already on both pastes and on the milk ensure. He has already started eating pate food on his own. I can already see a difference in him. Mild taste and easy to give.

By Jacqui on Sep 22, 2020

I have tried a few different calorie gels and all of them smelled awful. This one is much milder in smell and taste. It gives my kitty a little boost of energy and she doesnt hate me for it.

    Similar to Hairball Medicine

By catman on Aug 19, 2020

I can't really give this a thorough review. My baby was very sick and I tried this to get some calories in him. He had no interest and I had to put some on his paw like hairball medicine. I wasn't able to use much of it so I hope it may help someone else in the same situation.

    Mixes well with wet food

By Sissy on Apr 16, 2020

I tried this on a 17 year old cat and noticed improvement. Her eating habits had slowed down and her weight was dropping. I mix this in her wet food and she doesn't seem to notice it's there. She's observant with her food and can be finicky. Although she hasn't packed on substantial weight over the weeks, she's not quite as skinny as she was. After the third week, I noticed her energy level had also improved.

    Save Your $

By Kuklamu on Mar 20, 2020

Granted. Every cat is different. My Kuklamu is 20 years young. She used to weigh in at a whopping 13 lbs. Now she's down to less than 5. She rarely eats a decent meal. Her kidneys are shot, and she throws up almost daily. I bought this stuff--along with the same brand tube of multivitamin--hoping she would get some of it back. She took one sniff, a quick little lick, then darted away like I had just betrayed her trust. It took almost two days before we even made eye-contact after that. Same reaction to the multi-vitamin. Anyone need an almost full tube? Better yet, anyone have any ideas to get a really old cat to start looking forward to mealtime again?
