Shake well before using. Apply the supplement directly into your pet's mouth every 4 hours or mix with food.

This supplement contains 0.8% Pectin and 8.0% Kaolin, active ingredients per teaspoon.
What is the average expiration date on this item after opening? Is it good for a few months, or a year?

Once opened, this supplement shouldn't be used past the expiration date. The expiration date will be stamped on the back of the box.

PET PECTILLIN

I used this Pectillin on a stray I took in and she had very bad runny BM so I tried this for a couple of days with rice but it just didnt help her. So I tried plain pumpkin in the can with no spices in it and I gave it to her in the morning by dinner time her stole was starting to get thicker. The next morning still giving her pumpkin 1 tsp in rice and her stool was normal by end of the evening and she loved the pumpkin

Best ever I'm telling you!!

This medicine I had got it for my dog khole she had the runs for a couple of days..but once I gave it to her let me tell you the next day her runs had stop ..so yes I recommend this medicine...it did wonders for my dog.

Anti-diarrheal for dogs

I used this with my two elderly dogs who had a bout of diarrhea. It worked very well especially for our Chihuahua. It's was just tricky giving it to them with a dropper. May have worked out better putting it on a piece of bread and hoping they would eat it!

works ....................

My cat what having an issue with diarrhea and I tried a few products. It appears this is the final component that has helped. Using as a maintenance med mixd in with her food. She seems to like the taste, and it has gotten a lot better.

Great product

My elderly cat is in the end stages of kidney failure. Its been a long battle with the worst symptoms being the constant diarrhea and tummy upset that comes with poorly functioning kidneys. This medication helped her be more comfortable. It slowed the passage of her food allowing her to gain some weight, solidified the food so the diarrhea became less frequent stools and it also seemed to just calm her tummy in general. The instructions say every 4 hours but every 12 has worked well enough. Really helped settle her stomach when she stole some sour cream and almost immediately regretted it with acute indigestion. Grateful for this medicine.

Great Product

This really works. One of my dogs gets diarrhea from time to time . I give him a couple of times in his food and he is back to normal. I will always keep this on hand.

It actually works!

I tried other anti diarrhea medications and they either take too long to be effective or nothing would change. This stuff on the other hand is a life savor for my poor corgi who has IBS. It works immediately. I just pour the amount needed on top of his food and he doesn’t seem to notice. It’s an affordable price too so you can buy multiple to have on hand in case you need it

I bought this because my kitty kept having diarrhea and I figured I’d try this before going to the vet. I only used once and it stopped. Definitely recommend

But at your own risk

I bought this to try on my cat. Gave it to him every 4 hours for 2 days. It didn’t really do anything. I changed to pumpkin. Gave it not quite a day every 4 hours. His diarrhea is gone. No help from this. Gave it 2 stars because the cat did like the taste of it

medicine for my cat

Likely I did not have to use it, my cat got better as soon as I opened the package. But I trust to medications from Chewy, you can call the pharmacy for advice and trust them. Will save it for future.
