PetChatz HD Wifi Two-Way Audio & Video Camera & Treat Dispenser

Poorly made product. The camera lens itself was wobbly and off center behind the plastic viewfinder. The image was discolored. The back of the unit has exposed circuit boards and flimsy hardware components. I expected much higher quality at this price point. I’m returning this item and going with a different camera option for our puppy.

Ok so I spent hours working on this and it was defective, got a replacement spent more time, and that also had issues. My dog could not see the small screen and volume is too low. The paw does not allow your dog to call you as advertised. The units and app never worked properly and my dog has passed away because it took so long and when I email the company if there are videos of him on the app for me to find they ignore me. They also will not refund the stand I bought right before he got sick.

I did my research looking for a two way video camera and bought this PetChatz and paw to help keep in video contact with my 98 year old mom. It was easy to set up and works wonderful for my use. I mounted it on the wall at desk level and we can chat now as much as we want and I can keep monitor she is whenever i need to. The Paw makes it so easy for her to just press the button and she can call me and video chat with me on PetChatz, so much better than the phone. I know it was not meant for eldercare but it is perfect for this use too and works great and volume and picture is fantastic.

If I could rate a zero I would!!!! I paid for new equipment and received an obviously VERY USED PetChatz!!! The treats were open and half of the bag was Gone. I will NEVER order from Chewy again and will tell everyone about my experience!

I was looking for an option to upgrade an older two way camera we use for our dog. I was hoping a little extra money would give us something of higher quality. This definitely isn’t it. I was struck by how low the quality is when setting up the wifi. The screen and tech feels very “Oregon Trail” circa 1990. It came missing the mounting hardware and I’ve been unable to download the app for the last 30 minutes. I’ll try again to complete the set up later but this will likely need to be returned. Overall, disappointed by the glitches on first use.

When you open the box, there's an instruction manual that only covers how to set up wifi & how to start a chat. Totally appreciate the wifi setup help, but why instructions on how to chat? I'd really rather have instructions on how to put the thing together & mount it to the wall. Since it didn't come with instructions to mount (instead had an entire page of the "instruction manual" dedicated to basically say, "for instructions on how to mount, go to our support page"), figured it must not be hard & started myself! I've secured lots of things with anchors before, it's easy. It is so nice to be able to check in on my dogs throughout the day. Because of the PetChatz I actually discovered that despite their comfy pet beds around the house they spend much of my work day waiting on my near their food bowl, where there isn't any bed. I've moved a dog bed to their waiting-on-Mama spot, and they seem so much happier! Both my dogs and I enjoy when I video chat them. 10/10 would recommend. Easy set-up, wonderful product. Entirely a splurge but worth every penny for the joy it's brought me and them.

We absolutely love this. My husband, mom and I all call Buddy when we are not home. It's so very nice to see him and he can see us. We can talk to him and give him treats too.

The Petchatz camera is great. My dog is already trained to come to the camera when she hears the ringtone and then she waits anxiously for her treat.

I love using this to keep in touch with my dog while I am away at work or travelling.
