    Petcube delivers all I hoped it would, based on others reviews. The laser game is the best, as it goes on intermittently and my cat studies the pattern a few times before chasing the spots. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars, is infrequently, my unit shuts down, have to unplug it, reset it and recalibrate the laser. Petcube c/s has been fantastic, and helped resolve - or at least explain - the issues. It doesn’t always connect to the modem, so I bought a WiFi booster and that seems to be helping.     I'm on the fence about this, I'm happy to see my cat loves the laser and playing with it regularly and I'm happy to see it picking up when she's in the room and playing. the smart alerts are so so, generally, I get a clip starting of the cat already in the room and half the time it's very jerky with I'm on the fence about this, I'm happy to see my cat loves the laser and playing with it regularly and I'm happy to see it picking up when she's in the room and playing. the smart alerts are so so, generally, I get a clip starting of the cat already in the room and half the time it's very jerky with skip backs. This is *not* my network, as I'm a career IT support person and have a professional grade wireless solution in place in my house with great coverage. My Ring Cams don't have this issue. the video clips are only 30 seconds long, with no method of stringing them together. The talk feature is weak, with me barely being heard in the room. Night cam has random purple bars in it half the time (covering a significant area, not just a pixel to two in width). Honestly for what it is, it's a bit expensive and if what I'm getting now is a "free" preview of the full subscription service, it's definitely not worth $10 a month... I pay that for unlimited Ring Cams and security system monitoring. … more
