It is vitally important that you and your dog remain safe while learning during on-leash training. Your dog should be on a strong leash, long enough for him to attempt to chase an object, but short enough for him not to reach a road or other unsafe area. You must also be physically strong enough to restrain your dog when he tries to chase. Proper fit of the collar is important. A collar worn for too long or made too tight on the pets neck may cause skin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers; this condition is commonly known as bed sores.
Not for use with aggressive dogs. Do not use this product if your dog is aggressive, or if your dog is prone to aggressive behavior. If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your dog, please consult your veterinarian or certified trainer. For use with dogs over 6 months of age and over 8 lbs. DO NOT use when the dog or the collar is / are wet. Your dog should not vocalize or panic when receiving stimulation. If this happens, the stimulation level is too high, and you need to go back to the previous level and repeat the process. DO NOT charge the device near any flammable substances. This is not a toy, not for use on children. For dog use only. Should only be operated by responsible adult.
Reposition the collar every two hours, use it no more than 12 hours per day.
Instructions: Not for use with aggressive dogs. Do not use this Product if your dog is aggressive, or if your dog is prone to aggressive behavior. Aggressive dogs can cause severe injury and even death to their owner and others. If you are unsure whether this product is appropriate for your dog, please consult your veterinarian or certified trainer.
Risk of skin damage. Please read and follow the instructions in this manual. A collar worn for too long or made too tight on the pet's neck may cause skin damage. Ranging from redness to pressure ulcers; this condition is commonly known as bed sores.
Avoid leaving the collar on the dog for more than 12 hours per day. When possible reposition the collar on the pet's neck every 1 to 2 hours. Check the fit to prevent excessive pressure; follow the instructions in this manual. Never connect a lead to the electronic collar; it will cause excessive pressure on the contacts. When using a separate collar for a lead, don't put pressure on the electronic collar. Wash the dog's neck area and the contacts of the collar weekly with a damp cloth. If a rash or sore is found, discontinue use of the collar until the skin has healed. If the condition persists beyond 48 hours, see your veterinarian. General Tips
Eliminate one misbehavior or teach one obedience command at a time. If you move too fast with training, your pet may become confused. Be consistent. Correct your pet every time he misbehaves. Unless you can supervise him, it is recommended that you restrict your pet from situations in which he has a history of misbehaving. However, setting up a situation as a training session can dramatically improve your chances of success. If your pet reacts to the tones by hiding or acting fearful, redirect his attention to a simple and appropriate behavior, such as the sit command. Pets should be at least 6 months old before using the Training Collar. Only let responsible family members use the Training Collar. It is not a toy! Other pets in hearing range will be affected by the training tones. Therefore, training sessions should be conducted out of hearing range of other pets. Troubleshooting
My pet does not respond when I press a button.
Make sure the Receiver Collar has been turned on. If your range has reduced from the first time you used the Remote Training Collar, the battery(s) may be low in either the Remote Transmitter or Receiver Collar. Terrain, weather, vegetation, transmission from other radio devices and many other factors can impact the amount of range you have with the unit. Test the Receiver Collar. See How to use the Test Light for details. Increase the Vibration/Shock Level. Refer to How to find the best Vibration/Shock Level for more information. Make sure the Receiver Collar's Contact Points are placed snugly against your pet's skin. Refer to Collar fitting for more information. The Receiver Collar will not turn on.
Make sure the Receiver Collar has been charged. For the initial charge, be sure to charge it for 4 hours. Subsequent charges only take 2-3 hours. The Receiver Collar is not responding to the Remote Transmitter. Verify the Receiver Collar is on. If the Indicator Light does not come on when any button is pressed on the Transmitter, ensure that the batteries are fully charged. If the first two solutions did not resolve your problem, see How to pair the Remote Transmitter & the Receiver Collar.

We've just tried the bark collar a few times but it works immediately and our Beagle seems to be getting the message. She still barks some but stops when we put the collar on her.
This device worked wonderfully for my labradoodle. Only took a couple of days for him to be trained.
We bought three of these collars for our three small (loud) dogs. We will be returning all three. I can't overstate just how poorly made they are. Here are the big issues: 1: The straps are smooth to the point of being slippery, so much so that they loosen during normal wear, allowing the collars to fall off altogether. 2: The controls are horrendous. You have to tap repeatedly on the "touch screen" for any response, and once the collar has been worn outside and becomes a little dusty, the problems worsen. Adjusting settings on these collars is an exercise in extreme patience. 3: They simply don't work. One of our sweet fur friends has a real problem barking at night. I put the collar on her. She barked for over an hour, so I went downstairs to adjust it. Before the night was over I had bumped the power setting all the way to max, and she was still happily howling as much as she wanted. The collar never kicked in with vibration or static. One of the other three collars seems to work, but combined with issues 1 and 2, I see no reason to keep them. They're just garbage. My recommendation? Spend a little more, or just let the dog bark.
had this collar for two months, out of no where it stopped turning on. it will take charge but when is connect, it will not turn on.
My five year old dachshund was a constant barker. I thought he was too old to stop but I was completely wrong. After one day just the sound of the beep noise calms him down. From a non believer to a believer, the collar works!
The band has to be cut to fit. Once cut, it frays badly. Other than that, it works ok.
These are great! I have a small dog and a large dog and these have worked wonders since receiving them.
The product I recieved already had scratches on the screen and plastic housing, so I was suspicious of whether or not it would function immediately out of the box. It charged fine and was easy enough to follow instructions, but the metal prongs did not work. Neither pair worked and did not register on the little tester included. Even after I put it on my dog, there was the issue of my dog doing normal dog things, which caused the screen to change all sorts of settings - even after turning on the screen lock feature to avoid that sort of thing.
mixed review, one works well, one doesn't. Charging issues with one of them. But my dogs have curbed their barking considerably and the neighbor is happier.
Does well beeps a warning, he is learning. Now need to work on whining.
