I use this collar when we go out of family trips and my dog can get a bit too excited. I usually only use the vibrations options. Rarely use the shock, useless I really have no choice. But my dog has learned to listen more ,soits a relief and I recommend this collar to everyone that asks how I trained my dog. In the light in the dark and the the lantern thats included on the remote control, comes in handy. I explore at night with my dog.
Zeus is a pit mix rotty if you know breeds he is a mix of two very stubborn ones. I had paid lots of money to get him training classes or obispé y classes all I wanted him to do was listen to sit stay get over here he is quite a big puppy and every time I open the gate to my house to get my truck in there he went chasing everyone in his path well thanks to this styling collar that will no longer be the case. First day I used it on him he got out the gate I called on him before I tryed the collar right he went on as if nothing but let me tell you I then turned the collar on and in less than a minute he was right back in the gate sitting on my porch. Thank you I loved it.
I’ve used other collars and thought that they didn’t work for my pup because he wasn’t very responsive. Turns out, you need one that can work long distance. I love this thing. The adjustable settings, the adjustable sound control, the color, the range it works in (my pup goes to massive parks), and THE BATTERY. I’ve managed to go 30 days without charging the collar, and 90 days without charging the remote! My pup (bit of a bully to other dogs) even had a perfect day at the dog park the other day where I didn’t need to use the collar at all. I love this thing, so worth the money!
Helpful! So I got a couple different shock collars & I can honestly say this is one of my favorites. I noticed my dog no longer barks when people are walking by. That was one of my biggest issues considering my landlord have received complaints about it. We're still not at the point where he allows other dogs to walk or even children riding their bikes without him going crazy but we're working on it. Also this collar doesn't seem to hurt thankfully it more so vibrates enough to get his attention.
This collar works perfect on our hard headed puppy that does not listen. With each settings lights also flash to attract their attention. The remote even has a small light on it. I'm really impressed with this collar.
This really is a fantastic collar. I love that it has the 3 options of: 1. BEEP 2. VIBRATE 3. SHOCK It works fantastic for our Doberman who had some manner issues when we adopted her. Honestly she responds SO WELL to the beep and vibrate that we've rarely ever had to even use the shock function. The range appears to be as advertised, I've gotten her from across the neighborhood before when she escaped! What I can REALLY speak highly of is the battery life of BOTH the remote and the collar - absolutely phenomenal. There have been a few times where we've had the collar on her, and accidentally left it turned on ALL DAY. And that even happen on 2 or 3 different days IN BETWEEN charges. Was it dead? NOPE, still perfectly fine. Some sort of battery indicator on the collar piece would be nice, but certainly not a deal breaker. But yeah we purchased this remote/collar combo over 2 months ago, and I can honestly say I've only charged both of them maybe twice since we got them, that's impressive I must say. The package also came with a USB cable which splits into 2 micro-USB pigtails, so you can charge BOTH items off of 1 USB-A plug... handy! I appreciate thoughtfulness like that. And then to top it all off, you can fine tune the "strength" of the vibration and the shock! And on top of all that, it has a little LED flashlight which is pretty darn bright in the dead of night. I've used it a couple times to get her attention from across the yard during her before-bed nighttime potty break.
I’ve got farm animals and some very high energy dogs that like to pace and bark at the free range chickens and my cats and this collar helped tremendously! As soon as they hear the tone or feel the vibration they leave my other animals alone! 5 stars from me
80lb pit collar fits and she is a thick girl with plenty of room to go. Beep seems to refocus her onto what she should be doing love it so far Remote even has a flashlight on it So far so good definitely recommend this collar
I have tried many training collars, and none of them worked at all. This one worked absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend it. If you’re trying to train your dog into no barking it is also not harmful to the dog at all!
The product is lightweight and easy to handle. It is easy to use and works quickly on teaching commands. It fits my 150 lb dog's neck with about an inch to spare. Well worth the price.
