My older dog has reduced strength in his back legs so he slips on the tile. These socks make walking on the tile possible for him. I thought he might try to remove the socks but he doesn't, and they don't seem to bother him at all. He is a large pit bull breed (about 75 lbs) and the XL fits him perfectly. Customer service helped me choose the size and it was a good experience.
Sock less in MN

These socks are great for the first few seconds the dog has them on, but they soon turn and provide very little traction. A pain to have to reposition them every few minutes so he can walk on slippery surfaces, such as hardwood, vinyl, and tile. Every time he needs to go out, they need to come off as well. I don’t think they are worth the cost.

The socks were smaller than I had anticipated despite use of the size chart but I have used them on a different dog than the one I had in mind. They work well on hard wood floors and the dog, who has weakness in her hind quarters can now navigate without as much difficulty.

I do NOT recommend this product. The socks were on my dog less than a minute, he was not even moving, and when he tried to get up they had already turned so that the traction part was not touching the ground. Once they have turned like that, it would make it completely impossible for my dog to get up. They did not work at all for me. The only thing that is working is putting yoga mats on the floor everywhere....or moving them to wherever my dog happens to lay down. He simply cannot get up without them, but is managing pretty well with the yoga mats. I have not found a foot traction product that works, and I have tried about a half dozen of them at this point.

Definitely helped my dog walk on my new wood floors. She was used to all carpet and was really having trouble getting up from a laying position and then walking. She is getting older, 13 years, so her back legs are not what they used to be.
Tractoon doesnt stay to the bottom of the feet.

Unfortunately the socks didnt not work. The traction part kept turning to the top of his feet as he began to walk. They are tight on him now so i dont think it the size that is the cause. I guess I am going to have to find another solution.
Good for older dogs

They do improve the mobility of my 13+ year poodle who is pretty arthritic.
As for sizing, I would say order one size up from what the measurements say. A little tough to get on
They slip off right away

I use these to protect my dogs top foot as she has sores from knuckling. But, they fall of within an hour of her walking around. I will be buying a different brand next time.

I would not recommend them for very active and large dogs. Socks will turn and fall off paws. Spend more time adjusting and putting them back on. Not worth time or money.
Don't waste your money

This product sucks and does work! The sock just comes right off my dogs paws. And the part of the sock where it's supposed to prevent from slipping is placed wrong.
