WHY THE SUGAR!? :(
By Jess on Nov 27, 2018
My rabbit loves these papaya treats but I must ask why is there sugar added?? Papaya is naturally sweet and adding more sugar just makes it an unhealthy option. I hope Peter's somehow sees this or maybe Chewy can pass along the suggestion. Maybe I am just too picky but I will not knowingly give my bunny unhealthy foods no matter how much he begs. Sad because he loves these. But I limit it to 1-2 pieces per week and that's it. I can no longer continue to purchase these as I feel guilty even letting him have one piece when I know they are not healthy when they have a bunch of sugar, citric acid, oils and fats added.

Great for small rabbits
By LoneWolf1990 on Nov 19, 2018
These are great treats! I wouldn't recommend that for a rabbit over 6 pounds though you would have to give them a lot but I have a mini lop so these are great bite-sized snacks for him. Wish they would come in a bigger bag.

Don't buy this!
By GuineaPiglover on Jul 19, 2018
This is not healthy because of the colors and the preservatives so use fresh papaya instead.

Rabbits gobbled up
By Stac on Apr 6, 2018
Papaya was vet recommended to help with digestion. My rabbits gobbled this up. I like that there are few ingredients and they are all natural.

Chins love these
By Catherine on Feb 11, 2018
My chinchillas go crazy for these treats! I also have a dog that begs for them whenever she sees the bag in my hand. They can't get enough!

a lot smaller than we thought...
By Dune on Aug 3, 2017
We just received these in the mail less than 24 hours after ordering. We really need them for our rabbit, so i am not going to send them back, but the bag is not near as big as advertized and the pieces of papaya are small. This would be best for a very small rabbit, not our 17 lb rex. In addition, the price is not great for what you are actually getting. We could have gotten a much bigger bag somewhere else for the same cost.
