Millie gave this product 5 paws! Immediately used it and enjoys lying on it after using the scratching surface. She’s a middle-aged cat and appreciates how easy the horizontal scratcher is to use. Looks good and is sturdy, will purchase another one in the future and will keep this one after the surface needs replacing so she can still lay on it. Quality product!

Great quality

Our kitty loves the bigger size of this scratcher, because he is a bigger boy! He lays on it like a lounge chair. It is good quality and thick cardboard. It will last longer than some of the smaller ones we have had in the past. It also sheds less cardboard when he scratches it.

Best Product on the Market

This cardboard scratching pad is the best! It is sturdy and stays in place while my cats use it unlike every other similar product we've tried. Other pads are flimsy and slip when my cats scratch them so they refuse to use them, opting for my throw rugs instead. They love these and even enjoy napping on them. I've recommended them to all my friends with cats and they love them too. Beats all the rest and no more scratching my rugs and furniture.

Lasted for 3.5+ years

Truly impressed by the build quality and long lasting of this scratcher. I placed it concave up because my cat loves to sit, sleep, or do anything on it really and rest his head on the higher edges. It's almost 4 years before it started shedding the cardboard scraps, and because my cat scratches on the higher edges more often, only those areas are shedding and the rest is almost good as new. Will definitely buy again or other products from the brand!

My cat LOVED this from the get go! She uses it all the time, so I'm not sure how long it will last, but for now it was a good buy!

Lasted over a year

Halfway during the year I got a second cat and both love to use this scratcher daily. Now it's about used up so I looked up when I last bought this and was surprised it's been 13 months! Replacing it now and leaving a 5-star review because my cats loved it. I didn't doubt that they would though, since I've been buying petfusion scratchers and loungers for years and my first cat has always loved how densely packed their cardboard scratchers are. My second cat is no different! I have cheaper cardboard brands for my cats as well, which they also love, but those last much less time than petfusion brands.

Nice and Sturdy!

This cat scratcher is sturdy enough so that it doesn't flip over when in use like some of the cheaper ones. It also doesn't throw around as many scraps of cardboard. My cat loves it and it keeps her from tearing up my furniture!

cats don't like

All the other cardboard scratchers I've gotten at chewy my cats love, but they hate this one. They never use it. I think it is because the cardboard is so tightly packed that they cannot get their nails in it. I think they should stop selling this item. A waist of money , at least for my cats.
