Will it be good for my golden retriever ?? And what size ??

The Small measures 31 x 27 inches and is best for small breeds. The Medium measures 44 x 34 inches and is best for medium breeds. The Large measures 53 x 41 inches and is best for large breeds (such as a golden retriever). The X-Large measures 58 x 48 inches and is best for giant breeds.
Can I place several over rugs I don't want to have stained by new puppy

While this blanket is water-resistant, it is not waterproof. It is made of 100% quilted polyester micro plush with a light inner filling.

Greatblanket

I love this blanket for my pupper and even for myself so I bought another one. This blanket washes well and dries quickly. It's well made and heavy but not over done.I recommend it for puppers and people.

Poor quality stitching

After 2 weeks of use a seam came undone. The blanket is soft, & our dog enjoys it, but an opening of 3 inches after such a short time of use is unacceptable.

Luxuriously Soft

Purchased the Medium to use with the Furhaven Two-tone Deluxe Chaise Memory Top Dog Bed. Fits exactly on top, feels amazing and I have been through many blankets over the years. The soft gray color is very nice to look at. I agree that fur seems to shake off pretty easily, which is a true gift with two husky shepherd mixes. Will buy more of these in the future.

Nice blanket

It's soft & comfortable...hope our pups doesn't chew it up. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a non-slip bottom

Definitely not chew resistant

This has been in my pups crate for 2 nights. They slept great at night, but the boyfriend and I went out for 1 hour tonight and came home to this! Definitely kicking myself for spending $35 on a dog blanket.... back to Goodwill I go!

Great size and soft!

This blanket is perfect for my 14 yr old husky lab mix. He is constantly shedding and sometimes having accidents. This blanket is great. It’s large enough to tuck in the back of the couch and covers a large area. I really love that I can take it outside and shake the hair off easily. Highly recommend!

great product

I love this blanket so much I am going to order a second one. The hair shakes off pretty easily (and my dog sheds a ton). I use it to protect furniture during the day in the case of anal gland issues which she is known for, and since it is water resistant i also use it to protect her bed after a bath so the memory foam inside her bed doesn’t get wet.
