disappointing
It lasted several months until puppy got a hold of the zipper last night, which was tucked in, pulled the zipper off, pulled out all the side stuffing and ate it. So far he’s thrown about 1/2 up. Hoping the rest works out without need for vet or surgery. I don’t think there’s a bed out there truly chew proof and safe.
Did not work for us
I realize this bed is marketed as chew resistant and not chew proof, but I have no idea why. Our puppy chewed through the entire thing- zipper and all in a matter of minutes. I tucked the zippers in so they were not easily exposed as per the instructions. This bed was a waste of money unfortunately.
Not good for tough chewers as advertized
We searched specifically for a crate mat that was sturdy and strong and marketed specifically for tough chewers. This product is listed a 'chew-resistant' and the description says it is 'designed to withstand your paw-tner with a minimalist design that makes it difficult for dogs to snag with sharp teeth and claws'. Our dog chewed through this in minutes. This product should not be advertised for tough chewers.
Love This Mat
Our puppy has been having issues with potty training and this crate has stood up to the challenge. The inner pad is waterproof and the outside cover is so easy to take off and wash. If fits perfectly in her crate and she loves it. We had a mat with a removable cover before but it was such a pain to take the cover off. This one is very easy! Highly recommend.
it was nice for the six days it lasted
it really looks like there is a design flaw because the stitching on the side opposite the tag is not sturdy enough. From there it was just a matter of time before the puppy just obliterated it.
Dog Bed Defective
This dog bed is defective. The cover is sewn together and there is no place to insert the mattress pad. It is not usable.
Don't know what the headline is,
This item fits perfectly in the crate. My dog does scratch it hoping to rearrange it (even though she has a blanket that she can nest in) and so far her scratching has not affected the fabric.
chewed in couple hours
Bought this because of the “chew resistant” in description. It didn’t last a couple of hours with my pup. She chewed it all up.
Great Mat if your puppy isnt a chewer like mine
Overall loved this - great padding for a crate and very soft cover - only downside is I have a pup who LOVES to chew. I have yet to find a bed that is a match for him. At least we tried :D
Not chew resistant, not even a little bit.
This arrived two days ago. The bolster has already been ripped apart overnight and the zipper for that section destroyed. I was specifically needing something chew resistant and for the high price tag I was hopeful but severely let down. I know it's a matter of time before the rest of the bed is also ripped up as well. Chew resistant needs to be taken out of the description for this product. It's the only reason I paid the extra money for it.
