My cat hates everything. If I had all the money back for everything he's ignored I could buy a car. Okay, hyperbole, you know what I mean. Took a couple of days but now he's on it constantly. I might even consider buying some new furniture to replace the loveseat he destroyed. I didn't use the included catnip, because of course he hates that too. But he took to it anyway. Looks decent for pet furniture. Slides a little on the wood floor but no big deal. I am a happy cat person.
I bought the cheaper version of this scratcher first- and the mess of cardboard scrapings was unbearable. Not only is this one big enough for all three cats to play on at once, I’ve had it 4 days and not a single piece has been scraped off yet, despite lots of scratching. Absolutely worth the price, and very entertaining to watch our little cat pack play on this.
My cats love these scratchers. I tried a couple of other ones but they definitely prefer these. The last one I had was totally shredded on both sides, I finally had to throw it away. I sure am glad you got them back in stock! Thanks Chewy!
I bought this cat scratcher 3 years ago and my cats are still using it. It is a little pricey but indestructible. Better yet, there is no mess of shredded cardboard left all over the rug. I am going to MA for the summer and wanted to buy one for them but found out that it is temporarily out of stock. Bummer!
I've had this scratcher for a very long time and it's incredibly versatile. I have put it in multiple ways so my cat can scratch all of it. I now have it leaned up against the wall and she also sits on top of it.
Very tightly packed cardboard (lasts much longer than the cheaper kind). They should do a design change to where you can easily use both sides (what a waste).. but I just do it myself. Once both sides of the lounger are worn out, I cut in half with saw and use the undersides as well. I get around 8-10 months of use then.
I love these scratchers because they are so sturdy. I've bought them before and have always been pleased with them. But this is the first time I have to set them outside to air out before I give them to the cats. They came this time with a chemical scent - maybe the glue? I have two cats in renal failure and cannot risk exposing them to any extra chemicals, so I'm airing out the scratchers thoroughly. The scent is not overpowering, just... there. So I'm confident that some time outside will help reduce the stink. So, overall, I recommend them. But be aware that you may need to air them out, first.
I ordered this for my 3 indoor cats. They love this! I sprinkled a bit of catnip on the top and on the inside of the lounger. They take turns sleeping on the top of the lounger. They also like to crawl inside and lay down. Good purchase!
We usually purchase the PetFusion Jumbo Cat Scratcher Lounge. Because that item has been out of stock for quite a long time we purchased the Ultimate Cat Scratcher Lounge. Our cats took to it immediately. They take turns. One gets off, the other gets on. I may be purchasing another one.
My babes love it so much; both of them love it. How can I complain about the price at this point!!!;)
