Recent batch made dog sick
Until our most recent refill, our not-picky dachshund was excitedly eating these treats for over two years and we found they helped his mobility. Something appears to be wrong with recent batches because the last treat he ate resulted in vomit and diarrhea. He now flatly refuses to eat these treats and spits them out if we try to sneak them in his meals. Reading other reviews of similar experiences confirms our suspicions. Our dog clearly knows something is wrong with them, and we must toss these and find something else that doesn’t make him sick.
Makes my dog vomit
Not sure if this product actually works because my dog started vomiting the day after I started giving it to her. I tried a couple of different times just to make sure there wasn’t another reason she was vomiting up these chews and all of her food. She’s been off these chews for 3 days now and she hasn’t vomited since, which tells me it’s this product that’s making her sick. There’s also a lot of some weird green powder covering these, not sure if that had anything to do with her getting sick. When I reached out to the manufacturer they assured me that the green powder was ok.
This product saved my pup
I have an almost 10 year old American bulldog with loads of hip and knee issues with numerous surgeries under his belt. He was constantly having flare ups couldn’t walk or get on the couch. Always in pain. After starting this product we noticed less and less flare ups. We slowly started walking him and are happy to report he’s up to 3 miles a day now with no flare ups. He’s had one since we started it and it was minimal. Now I have both my ABs on it. This product gave me my pup back
Not very tasty
The value for the product is very good however my dog is struggling to take the medication. I have used other joint supplementals and he takes them easier. There is a strong medicine order with this product and I think that is why he is struggling to take it.
Made my dog sick
This made my blue Doberman so sick. Everything he ate since he was born came out his back end after eating one of these. Though may e it was just him getting sick so the next day I gave him another one and everything came out again. Will never buy these again.
Dogs won't eat it
Neither of my dogs will eat the chews. I really can't say anything other than that. I have to disguise them in liquid cheese to get them to *maybe* chew them. Even then, they are likely to spit them out.
Refuses to eat them
I have a toy poodle who vet believes has hip displasia. Vet also believes she had some sort of spinal injury at a young age (she will be 2 in July). Wanted something to help her out but she refuses to eat them. Tried to sprinkle it in her wet food...she refused to eat. I guess I'll betossing them
Joint aid
My 8 year old boy, Bertram, sure shows improvements in his walking and getting up from naps. Started seeing difference after about 30 days of taking (one a day) and also taking RX mylaxydol from his vet (reducing joint inflammation).
Good Product
Sweetie doesn't have any issues but she is a breed known to have hip and joint problems so I got Hip and Joint Health as a preventative measure as I really don't want her to go through any unnecessary pain and anguish.
Good ingredients and dogs like the taste...
I haven't had these long enough to see anything noticeable. My dogs do love the flavor. They smell like broth to me. It's a huge plus if the dogs like it. It looks to have quality ingredients.
