My dog liked it a bit too much

My Doberman pincher loves hairy squeaky toys, and no matter what, I have not found one yet that she doesn't destroy within one to two days. Since this one isn't hairy she did not take to it the day it arrived. We encouraged her by playing with her using the snake. Well she loves it now. Other toys have to be taken away too soon because she chews off ears, nose or other appendages to get to the stuffing to eat it. In this case there is only stuffing in the head and not much to chew off, except the tongue. So far she left the head alone. She however does chew on the cloth and we need to keep an eye on her because she will eat it if given the opportunity. The cloth holds up quite well. Once she chews enough for a very sturdy squeaker to be released we cut off that part of the cloth (if it is long enough we re-knot) so she will not be tempted to eat it. Well a couple of weeks later all that is left is the head and one more squeaker. Just about time to order another one. A bit costly but considering how long it kept her busy it's worth it The squeakers are very sturdy by the way. While our Doberman is not much of a ball player, once the snake is destroyed the squeaky balls might entertain another dog for a long time.

Mesa approved

Whenever I see a snake toy, I must get it. She is usually a heavy chewer but for this toy she'd rather fling it around and smack herself in the face with it. The fabric is thin so I think if she sat down and chewed on it, it would not last long. But it's hard to find toys she will not chew through since she's a power chewer. Either way I definitely recommend it, its her current go to toy.

It's a two for one!

Banshee is part Blue Pit part Huskee/wolf mix, so ripping through things is just a normal day. I read the reviews and figured I would try it. It's much longer than I thought, has 6 ball sections, and 5 of them are squeakers. NO fluff in the squeaker areas, just tight, strong fabric. Took her a whole day to remove one. When she did, it was a decently strong ball squeaker, not the flimsy plastic one. You can see the ball squeaker she removed in the picture. Now, she has 2 toys! If she kills the ball, she has 4 more to work for. Pretty good toy, I recommend it.

Great for rough chewers

My dog can be especially hard on chew toys and loves to tear seams and destroy squeakers, especially when she first gets her toy. But this toy has held up amazingly so far. She loves to carry it around and bite the many squeakers on it. Definitely a favorite!

Best so far

Sturdiest toy we have had to date. One can whip it( anything that can stand a pit bulls whipping its tough)even tho its very long, one chews on the non squeky parts and one on the head. So far we have just lost an eye. Not that it makes a differnece in the strength of the toy, its the cuttest thing ever in person.

Great for my de-stuffing dog

My Mini Aussidoodle LOVES this! He is a de-stuffer and only the head is stuffed. He has removed 2 of the squeeky balls so far, but they are tough enough that he isn't chewing them to bits.

Recommend for Big Dogs

This was bigger than expected but my husky mix LOVES it. He is a heavy chewer and we’ve had no issues with it. He now sleeps with it and it’s his favorite toy. Highly recommend.

So far so good

So far my 60 lb Wheaten Doodle has not destroyed this toy! He likes to play tug of war with it and it’s held up!

Afghan Hound puppy loves it!

When I first received my order I thought this item was to big and heavy for Rosy, my 9 week old puppy. Two weeks later she is shaking this snake and running all over with it . She also uses it as a sleeping buddy! So happy I kept it !

Big, long snake

My lab loves snake chew toys. Unfortunately he destroys them in a short time. I keep looking for one that will hold up and had high hopes for this one. To be fair it is really a good quality toy. For most dogs it should hold up fine. It is quite heavy so watch out if your dog flings it! A chew toy is only as tough as it’s weakest link. In this toy it’s the stitching under the head. My dog finds these areas first and then that’s the end of the toy!
