Just like the name says, PetKind That's It! Beef Tripe Canned Dog Food is made with only 6 real, whole ingredients, and that’s it. Beef tripe has numerous health benefits for your dog—it leads to a lustrous and healthy skin and coat and cleaner teeth, not to mention dogs love eating it. It’s extremely palatable, so even fussy eaters will chow down on this delicious source of protein. This recipe is gluten-free and uses quinoa instead of grains for a food that’s gentle on the stomach. Delicious sweet potatoes and blueberries act as antioxidant boosters to maintain your pup’s immune system. This nutritious limited ingredient formula works great as a mixer for dry food or as a raw food enhancer.

Key Benefits

  • This One's Definitely Worth A Try!

    By on

Out of my 13 dogs, only 5 of them will eat this stuff, but the ones who will eat it LOVE it! I've never seen them get so excited about anything that came out of a dog food can! I didn't find the scent of it to be too unpleasant or too strong, but I don't have a very sensitive nose (probably a blessing with this many large dogs in the house!). Interestingly, it's my pickiest eaters plus my lab mix, who will eat anything, who are crazy in love with the tripe. That it appeals so much to my pickiest eaters and hasn't caused any tummy upset in the ones with the most sensitive stomachs earns it a 10 in my book.

  • Yummy Stuff

My girl LOVES this stuff. I know tripe is good for them but I've been a little hesitant because I've heard it's can be pretty stinky stuff, this one doesn't smell to bad and my girls loves it so I'll keep this in her rotation.

My two small dogs (6 year old girl-Bichon/Maltese mix & 4 year old boy-Bichon/mini Poodle)seem to like this dog food much better than their old wet food but the smell makes me want to barf.

  • Great for traveling

    By on

My dogs love green tripe. I buy it in bulk, grind it, and freeze it. This kind of tripe does not travel well because it needs to stay refrigerated. I found petkind that's it beef tripe and love it! Great if you're traveling or if, like me, you sometimes run out of tripe. My fur babies love it as much as what I grind.

  • What can I say, dogs love it!!

    By on

Every time I open a can, the smell makes me gag. I know tripe is really good for the dogs, so I put up with it. Luckily it doesn't stay in their dish long enough to be a real problem!

  • You have to give this a try!!

I was impressed with the formulation of this food. I have a pet with a genetic skin condition who is also very finicky. My other pets are fine, and I always them feed premium food from Chewy. However, this pet has had me on a quest, and this food has given remarkable results. Scratching and biting are to such a minimum after only one week, and I'm in pleasant shock. (I use it only as a generous topper) I had a reservation right in the beginning because when I opened the can, the smell was NOT good, and I wasn't sure if it was spoiled somewhat. I realized it was tripe, so I thought I'd test it slightly. Well much to my surprise, my finicky dog finally has something he LOVES and that is healthy I was impressed with the formulation of this food. ( I have always given healthy grain free and limited ingredients whether enjoyed or not because of the skin issue.) The others are also jumping for joy because they get to cash in on it too. Lol The smell IS unpleasant, but the food grade is excellent with GREAT results and the smell doesn't linger on your pet. I HIGHLY recommend!! I just hope it doesn't change as others have. I'm really getting tired of the industry cheaping out on us. … more

  • Nutritious and They love them!

    By on

My dog is obsessed with green tripe. The smellier the better. I usually don't give them to him daily and he does not eat much wet canned food but I keep this stocked in my kitchen for "emergency" dinners when I am low on dog food and need to resort to white rice or something less savory. I will top this on top of the rice and he will devour it up. Tripe is good for dogs and this brand is one of the best.

  • Good but Smells Bad

    By on

My wirefoxes love the dry food version of this brand so I decided to treat them with a little mix of dry and wet when I saw it available on a can. The dogs like the food but the smell is very strong and unpleasant.

My dog loves all varieties of Tripe. I supplement with her dry food. Half cup of dry with one quarter can of Tripe, twice a day, for a 50 lb. dog. She is half German Shepherd, half Husky, and all squirrel. She is 11 years old and she acts like 5 years old.
