    Not Same Formula?

    By on

Im just feeding my dog the first can out of this shipment pack, and the consistency is not the same, seems less water and more dry, not the same smell to me, and my dog not really liking it. My dog LOVED the formula before, not sure what they changed, but I can definitely tell the difference.

    Mr Picky likes it

    By on

Food is not my dog’s thing. Toys are his thing. I’ve beeb feeding Canidae Lamb with Lamb sauce — not the lamb with duck sauce, he won’t eat that. It’s grain free but the vet says they’ve substituted peas for grain and in five years, that’s a lot of peas. I picked up several kinds of canned lamb and this was the winner. As some folks mentioned, there was some condensing of the contents, but it was fine. I’m going to sub this out on the autoship instead of the Canidae. I like that it has quinoa and blueberries. Maybe he’ll stop grazing my blueberry bushes.

    Dogs BEG for this food!!

    By on

My scottie has allergies and is also prone to cancerous cysts...I switched him to ONLY tripe food and he's a different dog! I tried the obvious ones but never thought about Lamb. They absolutely LOVE it! The consistency is very different and they love that too...it's kinda sticky and thank god it doesn't smell as horrible as the others. Two picky dogs love this... :)

My sheltie is just loving this product. It has not improved her coprohagia, however.

    Our baby won't eat this

    By on

Our German Shepherd loves the green lamb tripe so I took a chance on this food. It seems healthy. Unfortunately she doesn't like it. She tried a few bites and that was it. I had to buy another case of the plain lamb tripe. It doesn't even have that awful tripe smell.

    Cans aren't full

    By on

I usually buy a different brand of Tripe, but tried this one just for something different. In this case, I would say about 33% of the cans were half full. I won't buy this again.

My dogs were not crazy about this and when my St. Poodle tried to eat it, it would stick to the roof of his mouth like peanut butter. Made it difficult for him to eat. I had to remove it myself

    My Morgan Licks The plate!

    By on Top 1000 Contributor

My Morgan absolutely loves this. I mix it with his dry food, and for the first time in a long while he's pushing his plate around the room licking it spotless!

This is one of our Corso's favorite mix-in! We add a bit with his kibble and he is a very happy pup!
